Uncontrollable tab switches when ingame :/

Starting from around 24 hours ago, from when I would enter the loading screen of a normal game, till after I finished a game my laptop would tab switch from the lol client to either my desktop or whatever google browsing tab I had open. Basically about once or twice every ten seconds my laptop performs as if I am holding down the "alt tab" keys. I have no idea why this has started happening, and no idea how to fix it either. The game becomes unplayable with this type of interruption. My laptop is running windows 8. If anyone has any clue to how this may be solved please leave a comment, I would really appreciate that.
