League is getting boring.

Mhm. Just as the title says.

Why?

Oh. Maybe 'cuz the entire game is now based upon how fast you can kill the other person? 4/5 games, the entire match depended upon early game. Most of these, there was either a hyper carry (i.e. Jinx or Jhin) or an assassin that picked up first blood. Then, proceeded to snowball their way to victory. Most of the items (as of patch 7.2) were tweaked accordingly for assassins.

They didn't compensate for the juggernauts. I play Darius. A LOT of Darius. Mastery 7 Darius. The annoying [expletive] that got up in your face and pounded you to death. However, there were ways to counter me. Kiting, crowd control, and just pure damage could end my kill streak. Those were the fun days. Calculation, deceit, mind games with the opponents... and believe or not, you could actually have a rational conversation with the other team. Back to matter on hand. With the entire arsenal of items tweaked and with lethality introduced, one could dish out a LOT of damage in a single second. That being said, you still had to use skill.

Then the community realized how to combo these items. Kled used to be "okay-ish". He could tighten the noose around a single enemy and duel them to the death. Illaoi used to be good. She was strong, a formidable opponent. Now? Kled can pick up black cleaver and titanic hydra and he's f*cking unkillable. Once Black Cleaver is secured, he literally snowballs away from everyone else. "But Muzzy! He's tanky, but he does no damage!" Pft, yeah, right. A single ultimate from him can do 300-500 damage... with just BC. Early game? This is a lot. Darius can only do so much to counter that, and he's considered a strong champion already. Once titanic hydra is secured, it's pretty much like this: Tank everything, charge with ultimate, kill everything, wait for ultimate, repeat. He has too much lifesteal and too much health. Illaoi is basically the same. When she used her ultimate, she gets up to 35 - 50% lifesteal. What the [expletive]? Me, as a Darius player, can't compete with that, even with the heal from my Q. What did Illoai do? Nothing. Just bought a titanic hydra and pressed the right abilities at the right time. Then the snowball rolls away.

All the updated assassins are exactly the same way. A LeBlanc main once mentioned to me during a game, "This isn't fun anymore." I asked why. "Too much damage and too much range." Those exactly words, ladies and gentlemen. You think I'm lying? Fine, I don't care. Just know that League is taking a turn for the worse.

Sure, I could sit down and 'git gud', but really? I'm not going to spend my time getting good at button mashing or camping a single player. There's no skill involved anymore. I have better things to be doing; places to be, people to meet.

A side note: Like I mentioned before, you USED to be able to have a reasonable and level-headed discussion with other players while playing the game. Now? [me]: glhf [opponent 1]: nope [teammate 1]: lol i hope you drink bleach [opponent 2]: dickbutt [teammate 2]: lets go mah [expletive] You can't even say 'glhf' anymore.

TL;DR -League of Legends isn't about skill anymore. Just burst, burst, burst. -No balance whatsoever in the spectrum of champions. -Toxic community. -Riot Games doesn't give a [expletive] about me.
