I am pretty sure this is a bug b.c. half the time when I ult I think that I have E-Q combo-ed after wards but in reality I just Q b.c. my E was silenced by my own ult. Or worse I try to troll pool afterwards and I do not b.c. I am silenced by my own-self. Why is this still in the game? It has been around since forever. It makes him feel so clunky after his ult.

wolfax1 votesHe's not the only one with an animation. The animation is not itself a bug, it's a slight tradeoff because the ability is quite powerful.

It was never a bug, it was always intentional. They said Vlad would have too much burst if he could cast immediately after ulting. So they don't let him.
Vrim1 votesAside from his W, all of Vlad's spells have a short animation or cast bar to go through before your next action can take effect. It can feel quite clunky if you're not used to those pauses. But that's one of the small things that separate the good Vlads from the great ones.
NoMonku1 votesIf this is a bug it should be in the "Report a Bug" section. I don't think it is, though. I think the problem is you aren't used to the fact he has a cast animation and you're mashing on the keys faster then his skills are meant to go off.

More seriously it may actually have to do with his late game power already being great and this would make his burst rotation 12% stronger. I don't exactly see a huge issue with this besides his laning.
