how viable is graves adc right now?
just curious what people say cause i think it would work but idk who he would be good against and bad against

Probly would lack a decent early game, but their is potential in snowballing in the mid game, or perhaps playing him with a kit based support, and making an out play scenario. I wouldn't say hes not viable, there are just better options.
Viable enough to make him a Jungler and not an ADC. While he is a ranged, "marksmen", he fails at laning since he has no penetrating basic attacks. He becomes super easy to bully out of lane because of this since if he has wants to trade, he has to have a clear, direct line to his target, or spend mana, neither of which is reliable or desirable to have as a handicap.
While if played correctly and you capitalize on your opponent's errors and weaknesses he can work, there is no real point to pick him over another ADC who does not have the AA handicap. Also, if he is going to a lane, I usually see him TOP since he has more of an equal match-up against the usual melee TOP champions.
If you are good at graves you can adc with him and do fine.. 1 of the best graves players in the world occasionally does it when he has another jungler on his team that sucks at adc (and got auto filled)
You would have to have some sort of engage support like leona because he requires you getting in their face for the most damage, he has shorter range than any other marksperson so he will get poked out a lot especially since he can't efficiently trade back due to not being able to shoot through minions
he hasn't really been viable bot lane since his change and his kit is way better suited for the jungle
Even with the new runes and updates, leona and graves is really strong, they deal tons of damage early game and it's like wtf. played against draven and zilean and we did really good, albeit i wasnt good and it was my first time trying, leona carried since i did as much damage and she cleaned up the rest
