I feel sorry for all the akali mains

I don't think its anywhere near as bad as Morde.

If you look at Akali's current numbers and current patterns, she's a mess of balance.

The only thing holding her back is her atrocious early game, which most champions can punish very well.

Yeah, Akali's current numbers are too low, but the systematic changes that are happening to her are nowhere near as bad as Morde's. Just make the passive a 1 hit passive again or switch the damage with the healing.

Her current gameplay can be summarized as "try to hit 6 and stat-check the opposing laner and hope you snowball since there's basically no counterplay once you're ahead".
