My experience playing ranked for the 1st time

Hello fellow LoLers! :)

So, after prolonging my unranked status for a while, I have decided to be brave and start playing ranked. Unfortunately, I think I might just stop here. The reason is, I have played 5 ranked matches and have lost all of them. Now, idk why this happened. I am discouraged and very confused since I really do not suck this much, I rarely lose 5 games in a row. They weren't even long matches... we lost pretty easily. The teams were bad altogether (my lane usually fell last, but oh, it always did...) - I am saying this because I am aware that I am a constant in 5 consecutive lost matches, and yes, I have wondered whether I was actually the problem. Turns not I was not, though, and I don't think I want to keep playing ranked. Is there any reason you guys could think of, as in why I have been dealt this unlucky hand? What were your 1st ranked matches like?
