So i got plat 2 by the end of preseason, managed to go 8-2 in placements being placed in plat 3 with quite high mmr, won my first game and was given 26 lp, lost the next 2 due to afks losing about 14 a loss. Okay ohwell ill just make it back, i win the next few and only gain 12-14 a win, and im losing 23. Uhm wtf? why did i literally swap after 1-2 losses. is lp gain/loss just fucked right now? should i be waiting to play?
I mean last game I played on my smurf last night I was gaining 27+ and I come on today and I start gaining 12 and losing 12 is weird
feels like theres something wrong with the mmr now... was gaining 25lp when I win, after one lose suddenly reduced to 15lp per win..
Ended with Gold 1 Went 4 - 6 Literally all of those loses was from feeders and trolls Placed in silver 2
As for as LP gain, it might be a new system where it lowers your loss if you have an afk. I dont know how LP gains in plat works but that would be my assumption.
Haha, the whole system doesn't make sense right now.
Ended gold3, got placed silver4 after 7-3 placements, but I haven't seen anything but s6 plats with a few s6 golds here and there.

i litteraly have the same issue, it makes no sense atm to play
Variations in LP gain/loss is meant to move you to a position in a league more accurate with your MMR. Losing a lot of LP or winning very little means you're positioned too high.
Capucin12/9/2016, 9:43:25 AMHey, I have quite the same problem, Got from G3 to S1 with 5-5 (pretty good though), and right after my placement games I won 2 games by winning 17LP and 16LP. After that I lost one game and 21LP, and afterwards a 17LP win
A Wild Ivern have won 262Lp at his first win, so maybe they changer something yesterday that fucked yp everything.
