Anivia opinions?

I've recently picked up Anivia, in an attempt to climb in ranked. I mained support, because that's what I'm best at. But I've come to the realization it is incredibly difficult to climb maining support in solo without any friends etc. I've had a ton of success - 20 games KDA is 8.3/2.2/6.5 (Not counting last 17/6/13 game) with a win % of 70. Not counting normal's which I average much higher kill.

Would like peoples opinion on Anivia. I've read etc, but I'd like forums.

How hard does she fall off in your opinion? Is she viable in Gold+? (Highest rank was Silver 2 last season, friends have since quit. And I've also gotten much better.) Do you recommend RoA + Archangles? I've read mixed opinions on it. Catalyst 1st, Tear 2nd opinion? Also read mixed. Last - At what level would you put a point in W (Wall). Obviously it's all about personal preference, and I'm having quite good success so I don't see myself fixing what isn't broken. Like I said, would just like opinions. Thanks.

She doesn't fall off and is considered a late game champ but she can't 1 shot late game so you have to use the wall well.

She is viable in all elos.

ROA+Archangels is the best build on her ever since the ROA buffs since archangels synergises with it so well. If you really want the CDR you can take a morello third, but if you take CDR runes you should be fine.

This will depend. If you can't afford the catalyst on your first back but you have enough for the tear I'd just take the tear unless you're being pressured hard, in which case you might need the ruby crystal. Likewise, if you can afford either one, pick tear if you're not being pressured (other laner has no kill threat), and take catalyst if you are under kill pressure or need sustain. Taking catalyst before tear will delay your stacking, but this is okay as long as you always finish ROA before archangels.

The two common times are level 4 and level 8. I prefer level 4, because taking it level 8 is just extremely greedy. You're unlikely to kill the other laner because of the extra point in q and having the wall early just does so much for you. It can help you avoid a gank , save a teammate, and I'd argue it's even better for fighting in the lane because you can wall to land your q or push the other laner back into your ult.

Always start doran's or the dark seal (if you have kill pressure or don't think you'll need the mana sustain). Don't start crystal.

she doesnt fall off shes a late game carry, she scales as the game goes on and thats why she isnt played alot sinc the new season, games are shorter shes having trouble getting to the late game because games end around 20 minutes so often now, but she is still strong, you simply have to get her going

she does tons of damage early game just don't get ap runes. Instead get magic penetration runes and by lvl 3-4 with first pre built item (blasting wand fiendis codex ect.)you can 2 shot half health most mid laners
