as the question states i played jax into heimer and i just dont know how to beat that guy.

I q a w he stuns and goes away leaving me in the middle of 3 turrets trading 2 x the dmg

i bait his stun he still has the turret slow for me not to reach auto mode after q again.

i try to kill the turrets and im literally destroys hp wise and im seeing no big cd for him to respawn them.

i try to q A W but to retreat with E still the trade favours him

i got no more answers to this guy. before if he made a mistake bc he would do less dmg i had a chance but now i dont even feel like i can match him.

maybe its just me but this ranged into melee or mage top its getting boring and really sad now. im seriosly going through the whole process of maybe switch to some other game like dota 2 or smth

You either have to be ranged, someone that kills his turrets instantly or someone that just tanks his damage.

Heimer is a lot elo stomper, but still a good character after his buffs.

You should probably not be playing Jax into heimer though, but if you do try goiing item 3111 item 3077 as your first items.

The strongest item in the game against heimer is item 3194

I played irelia into heimerdinger once and it worked pretty well, you can q to his turrets, kill them and reset it and then q to heimerdinger. Idk if it is actually good or if i just got lucky though.

being immobile. this is why mobility was introduced, because ranged champs actually shit on any melee that doesn't have them. if the melee has them then you can now have a skill matchup.

Delusional people trying to pretend Heimer needed those buffs and that he isn't broken. This is Quinn and Cass being the best in every lane states of busted. The answer is you don't get to play the game because Rito wanted to overbuff a champion for worlds. I don't see how this is the breaking point though there is basically always some busted mage, adc, or tank ruining toplane.

Get Sustain and just afk farm him, you'll eventually get more gold than heimerdinger because of his turrets. Destroying them gives 5g each times, I don't understand why people complain when they can just outscale him by farming him.

Sustain past his Q damage. That's about it.

Melee champions have the advantage of generally having enough sustain to survive him to potentially outlast his mana pool.

Not like it matters though since he's always going to be ahead of you in gold, because he has to be beyond ape tier to miss a single minion.

As Jax, I'm not sure what your problem is outside of just being outplayed. Dealing with any champion is all about playing around their strengths and turning them into weaknesses. Jax's ult already lowers damage taken by increasing his MR and Armor, and his helicopter dick lowers AOE damage (and I'm pretty sure blocks heimer turret shots but I'm not too sure on that one) so since your kit deals with some of heimer's nonsense it's all a matter of dealing with the rest. If the turrets are terribly placed then minions will destroy them fairly quickly.

I'm skipping some other stuff but considering that Heimer is probably hard pushing, that's what a jungler's for.

I don't really have much of a hard time at all against Heimer when I'm using champs like Fiora or Irelia. Again, you just have to make him waste his strengths, same as when playing against any other champion.

He is a horrible fit with top lane... He should get a mini rework to shift him into bot and mid exclusively...

In top lane, just minimize interaction with him if you're not a select few champions that can reliably deal with him. Let him push and then just try to farm near turret while dodging his skill shots... Don't bother trying to trade with him unless he does something blatantly stupid and you are sure it isn't a bait.

This is usually the case for ranged top vs any classic top laner. You can win the game if you just wait out laning, but it is very boring and frustrating for many players. It is really bad for gameplay health. Ranged tops also usually leave their team without a frontline for teamfights, which is frustrating for their teammates, and is the reason ranged tops don't end up with ridiculous winrates even when they often auto-win laning.

i have a really easy time playing vs him as Nocturne top.

Position to poke him+a turret with Q. Or to hit two turrets, and ignore him. Position yourself to last hit a minion+that turret/s with 1Umbrablades proc. Spell shield if he tries to punish you. If you do get poked, it doesn't matter, your passive+bloodline+corruption pots+biscuits will make you immortal up to level 6. Keep him shoved onto his tower, especially when you're about to hit level 6.

when you hit level 6, recall, buy a Serrated Dirk. Walk bot, ult bot while they are level 4, and attempt to snowball your bot lane. TP back to top afterwards, and farm the CS crashing on your tower.

In the event that your bot lane cant be helped, you can all-in Heimer with your ult, as long as hes in the middle of the lane, or deeper. Fear will persist through stopwatch if he has one, and your Umbrablades/Q will take out his turrets so he isn't gonna be able to easily make a super turret. And by the time he does, he's dead, and you're walking away at like 50%+ health. However i prefer not to bother killing Heimer, and reserve my ult for protecting my Jungler when hes doing Scuttle/Enemy blue side/His own red side, or to assist with a Mid lane gank.

*edit if your bot lane isnt helpable, consider buying something that isnt a Serrated Dirk as your first item. if it makes sense too. Tiamats/Cutlass/Serrated dirk/Phage, depending on things.

Yasuo and Zed are two melee who perform well against him.

Zed out pokes heim and has the advantage of energy versus mana. Yasuo out pokes heim, has his windwall to fuck up heim's combos, and has the advantage of no resource versus mana.

Try gangplank he does really good into heimer from what i have seen, played him into heimer with sucess as i got fed off him not respecting my barrels

You literally play one of the cancers of this game. You reduce all AOE damage by a LOT and you dodge all auto attacks. You win team fights hard core, and have very good escapes and chase potentials.

Your weakness is CC. That's why Heimerdinger counters you. At least.... until 2 items.

The moment you don't get "bursted down" in his CC duration, heimer is fucked by Jax. Due to how stupid the synergy between item 3161 and Jax it, to the point I'd make this item "unable to be purchased on Jax".

So yes, the early game is going to suck. You will have to struggle for farm. You will have to roam bot lane at lv6 and try a lane gank. You will have to roam in the enemy jungle and ward. You will have to join your jungler and gank mid together. You can't get all the farm or 1v1 heimer in the early and early mid game.

But the fact that you play something as absurd as Jax, towards which heimer has no anwers after Jax finishes two items, and you want to beat him early as well is absurd......

And the sad part is......... there's even a rune out there, which will negate a lot of CC to the point that you don't even need to buy item 3111 ....... All you'd need is that rune, some wave push ability for early game (which stupidly enough ADs get for 1300g item 3077 , while mages have to pay over 2000g for it item 3152 ) and then you rush your absurdity item. Which gives you a shit load of CDR, a passive that's broken with Jax's skill set, and HP which synergizes really well with Jax's ult. God forbid you get to the point you get life steal as well, Heimer might as well quit the game if he can't win team fights at this point.

Heimer has a fairly big weakness he will always be shoving due to his turrets so if you manage to freeze the wave you can keep him off of cs

Aatrox Volibear Mordekaiser are nice counterpicks, as they have abilities that either immobilize(fear) the turrets, or remove them from combat completely.

Just have to all in and see if you can 100-0 that rat.

Sion can E his turrets and has enough wave clear to stay in lane against him, all while rushing health and MR.

Supposedly Irelia is good against him, but I've personally never seen the matchup.

It depends on who you're playing.

Heimerdinger gets easily countered by champions with shields and good engages if you know what you're doing.

Some good champions for this are Mordekaiser Irelia Akali Fiora Malphite Sylas Jax

As you see, all these champs have some sort of cc, shield, or engage ability.

When playing vs a Heimer, you can engage when he oversteps, which is a common mistake from ranged toplaners, as they are focusing too much on poking and harass, that they forget about their positioning.

If he is smart, and watches his positioning, freeze near your turret. He has to keep pushing due to his turrets always attacking. This will then allow your jungler to come gank. If they dont gank, you need to play safe, because the only way to beat heimer is to capitalize on him overstepping, or getting a gank. A 100-0 attempt with flash can sometimes work on champs like Darius Garen Irelia Jax , but you need to consider both players' damage before going in. This is also why having a shield on your champion is nice.

At this point in the game, its usually best to just pick a ranged top laner as well, like Cassiopeia Azir Vayne Tristana
