I just got done carrying a game with Morgana... 18/3/10 and, out of curiosity, why was I given an A+ rather than an S+ or even an S? Yes the CS is low, but I clearly didn't need it.
In relation to the Hextechs, The S generally drops hextech chests or key fragments. If the grading system is off like this, then the chances of the drops are even less, which kinda sucks.

DebonairCorgi1 votesBut then my question is why does CS make the difference alone. In a previous game I played corki 17/8/19 with about 281 cs and got an S. The only difference here was I had more CS with Corki. CS shouldn't be the determining factor here, over all play should. Unless I'm missing something completely.
Slythion1 votesbut you see, cs does matter. I could make the argument that it shows how helpful you were in pushing lanes which is correlated to taking towers but it also represents a very good skill (arguably the most important skill in the game) as it's your primary source of income.
DebonairCorgi1 votesHmm, perhaps I phrased this wrong, I'm not saying CS doesn't matter in general. I'm saying in the grading, it should not take precedent over the overall playing. I was very mobile during this game; after securing a kill in my lane and pushing it up, I rotated to bottom and top to gank. I'm still not fantastic at CSing with Morgana if my W doesn't get them, so my farm was low. But overall, my presence in the other lanes is what led us to a victory since top lane was losing hard and bot was constantly pushed back.
Slythion1 votesI don't know, cs is still a very important deciding factor. While you can have a good kda and no cs and still win, or good cs and ok kda it still doesn't represent what you should have nor better compared to others. Both kda and cs are deciding factors in games and so both should have a pretty big impact on grading yaknow?

Mysticman891 votesJust FYI, your mastery grade doesn't make any difference to getting a key fragment. It's an S grade for chests (which is a sure thing if you have a free chest slot and haven't gotten one on that champ yet), but key fragments only care if you win or not.
As for your grade, you seem to have done well, but the grades are based on how you did compared to all morg mid players (assuming you were mid and not support), so apparently enough players had performances better than yours to make the S grade cutoff just out of reach. Maybe it's CS, maybe they warded better, or maybe they had better KDAs, but if morg standards are high, you need to really be bringing your A S game.
