Ashe - The Frost Archer

(Passive):* Frost Quiver* - Ashe's quiver charges her arrows with ice, causing her abilities and basic attacks to additionally slow enemy champions. Frost Quiver gains charges every 10/9/8/7/6 seconds and can store up to 2/4/6/8/12 enchanted ice arrows. 1 charge is used per basic attack and 2 charges are used per ability. Champions hit by Ashe's basic attacks slow enemy movement by 35% while her abilities slow by 20%. All slows last for 2 seconds. Note: Quiver Charges are not used up by hitting minions with basic attacks.

(Q): Chilling Focus (toggle) - Ashe's arrows become super charged by her bow and chill her targets to the bone. While active, every basic attack against Champions deal 1/2/3/4/5% of their current health as magic damage.*

[Edit: Chilling Focus (toggle) - Ashe's basic attacks consume 2/4/6/8/10 mana per auto attack. Striking enemy targets will give Ashe a stackable buff. Every stack increases Ashe's basic attack range by 10/15/20/25/30. Stacks cap at 3. 630-690 possible range. Chilling Focus remains for 3 seconds while Ashe is out of combat or toggles Chilling Focus off. New passive: Every rank of Chilling Focus increases Volley's range by 10/20/30/40/50 and adds an extra arrow. Total arrows from 7-12 fired. At max rank Volley gains 30 extra base AD. Maxing Volley at 100 + (100%).]**

*---Scrapped the idea for the current health passive as giving Ashe more accessible range seems to give her a better payout in laning phase as well as kiting/chasing (which she has trouble with now-a-days b/c of her AA wind-up and league of mobility. Changed Volley (see below( to it's current form but made it harder to avoid later game as well as giving it a range buff with Q level).----

(W):* Arcing Volley* - Ashe fires an array of 10 arrows in an arc, fanning out from the left to the right. Enemies hit by multiple arrows take 30% damage. Each arrow deals 10/20/30/40/50 damage (100% Bonus AD).

[Edit: Arcing Volley is changed back to her current Volley. Ashe fires 7 arrows in a cone, each dealing 30/40/50/60/70 damage (100% AD). Now functions with Chilling Focus.]

(E): Queen of The Freljord - Passive: Ashe collects a tribute for every enemy slain earning her bonus gold. She gains 3 bonus gold per enemy slain. This bonus increased by 1/2/3/4/5 based on the time in-between kills. (Every x amount of time built up). (Active): Ashe channels to charge an arrow for .5 seconds and arcs an arrow in target direction. The arrow grants vision along it's directed path and explodes upon reaching it's destination, revealing the area for 2/3/4/5/6 seconds. The detonation area applies Frost Quiver's 20% slow for the duration.

(R): Enchanted Crystal Arrow - Ashe shoots a giant arrow across the field in target direction. Upon hitting an enemy champion, they are dealt 150/250/350 (100% AP) magic damage and are stunned for 1 second. Surrounding enemies are dealt the same damage but the slow duration from Frost Quiver is reduced by half. If Ashe has more than 2 charges of Frost Quiver arrows, Enchanted Crystal Arrow will consume 1/2/3 extra charges (based on rank) and will stun for an additional .5/1/1.5 seconds and Frost Quiver will apply a 40% slow instead of a 20% slow regardless of rank.

she is fine she is slow and does not boast insane and reliable cc but she is a good ad carry

dont mistake an UNDERRATED champ for UNDERPOWERED champ

nobody plays ashe cause she is not realy uique, most of her power comes from skills that are passive, all you realy cast is wolley and ult

still she can churn the enemy team like mad not to mention her teamfights wit hrunans hurican and static shiw (i personaly played her a lot in the past and return to her occasionaly)

I don't think she's underpowered. I think she just lacks the early game damage and presence to get to late-game to carry. Especially in the age of mobility and power creep with newer champs and heavier dive comps.

I like Ashe, but like all good things, some must change to fit in better.

The issue with ult is, its an amazing long range initation and your version requires your target to stay in aa range.

Also, do we really need more damage based on %hp?

But to be honest, I cant think of a way to better Ashe and preserve her identity at the same time

I don't really understand why you think his version requires ashe to stand in aa range? It's the same ult as before just with the possibility of a longer stun.

@XSparkleFistX Overall I like the concept I have some problems with her q though. Well just no, no, no please no? I beg you? Ashe is no tankshredder, it makes thematically no sense at all aswell O.o Maybe some sort of bonus damge on slowed targets (not percentage but with scaling) as passive on q and maybe a toggle that allows her to recharge her passive after a certain amount of autoattacks/time aka mana use = more slow. Her passive numbers would need to be adjusted with this idea, I am not too sure about this. I am sure someone else has something better for her q :)

Right now Ashes stun from ult scales based on the distance arrow travelled, up to 2,5 sec or something.

This version reqiures you to apply the stacks in order to get the most of your ult, and as far as OP is concerned, stacks are applied via aa

I may need to elaborate more on this. I'm not very good at explaining things to other people since I tend to understand and lack further explanation.

Ashe doesn't need to have Quiver charges to use her abilities. Her Quiver charges just give her abilities an extra effect. I.E. Her Ult requires 2 in order to slow targets instead of just stunning. If you have 3 or more charges, at rank 1/2/3 Ashe will use 1/2/3 more arrows to prolong the stun.

It's actually a buff to close quarters Ashe. If you are in her face or not, if you use 5 charges with your Ult, it will have a max stun of 2.5 instead of having a travelling time. It helps her late game more than early game. But to control it being too much, the bonus stun only goes up .5 every rank of her ult. So yes, the long-range arrows won't stun very long, but late game arrows at close quarters help much more. Plus the AoE Slow doubles with max Quiver charges..

@Feurachat

Thanks for the insight. Now that I think about it, it would be a problem for tanks to do their job if Ashe can get maxhp% with BoTRK and her Q. I'll look into what I could change it to, but bonus damage sounds nice.

Q's % health damage is fairly lazy design given the large number of new releases/reworks with current health abilities, and the nature of W makes it difficult to picture. To elaborate on W, you say that it fans out from left to right, meaning it comes out earlier. Ashe would basically need to be stuck in a self-stun channel to pull this move off, making this a dreadfully awkward move to use.

Also, believe it or not, that's actually pretty much a straight buff to her ultimate, as you can get the 2.5s stun at melee range.

Yes, I know it was a buff to her ultimate. But that's one of the reasons why I lowered it's damage per level.

And I know the HP% is a lazy design, but because it's become so popular, I figured adding it to a older champions design would enhance her ability to properly kill tanks if they weren't able to burst her down. Besides, the HP% is magic damage and she's still a rather immobile champion. I don't see her Q being a bad thing for her. Especially since she has to have enough quiver charges to consistently slow an enemy.

As for her W, the arrows end up in the same position as with her old Volley, but they don't spray out all at the same time. Instead, it's like she very quickly fired them one by one in a cone. Imagine Heimerdinger's Rockets firing off one by one in one click, but fast enough that it looks like it was executed only once. I hope that made sense.

I think her Q should stay as-is. The issue with the passive you've got going is that the player has no control over when those arrows are used. I'd hate to see them wasted on minions, for example. There's no real strategy there. I don't mind her Frost Arrows doing more damage, however. 5% current health damage is pretty abysmal, though.

The proposed E is pretty needlessly complicated, and cuts out her whole hawk spirit thing she has going. Her current E is fine, though with the lack of reliable escape in her kit, I'd like if her hawk spirit did something more interesting; functioning as a ward, for example, would be a huge boon to her lane safety.

Actually, the Quiver Charges would only apply to Champions. So you don't have to worry about using them on minions. It's not like you need to slow minions or deal % damage to them unless it's Baron Nashor/Dragon... in which you'll have enough AD as an ADC.

Edits: I updated Ashe's Q: (Chilling Focus) and her (W) Arcing Volley.
