Can we have the option to prevent our friends talking to us from outside the game?

Meaning if I am in a game such as ranked, I don't want to be distracted with people chatting from outside the game. It could be a simple auto responder saying to the person trying to chat "sorry, this summoner is in a game, please try messaging them after it!" or something like that.

This shouldn't be a forced decision but sometimes, especially in ranked games, I do not want to be having side conversations with others when I am trying to focus.
