Ward limit

I am a support main.

I would appreciate an indicator for how many wards I currently have on the map.

Currently I have to hover over my sightstone to see how many wards I have placed, which leaves me vulnerable as I'm walking around the map; ie, looking at my tool tip, and having my mouse away from my champion.

The introduction of Zombie wards, and how they won't spawn if a ward dies as a result of laying a 4th ward prodded this request, as I want to maximize my wards without getting myself killed.

umm you can just USE the sightstone? it will show u the ward range and it will tell you how many more u can place and which ward will be destroyed if u already have 3.

the only think i dislike is when your buying pink wards you can't tell if you have one on the field or not, only when placing them

All you have to do is look at the charge number, and do instant simple subtraction m8

1 charge left means you used 2 already. Pretty basic and any support main should be doing this second hand by now.

A suggestion from a fellow Support main (though this is less effective if you don't have a mouse with multiple buttons);

Bind a key to your side buttons, have Sightstone on that slot and disable smart cast; While directing the Ward, you can see how many you've placed by just looking at the screen.

Adding some indicator beyond sightstone would both clutter your screen and give information to the enemy team...

As it is, you can just hover over Sightstone.

How are you a support main and unable to remember how many wards you placed? You have so many things to keep track of as a support (where is the jungler, how long ago did top back, where is mid, is my adc pushing the wave without purpose, is now a good time to back, is now the time if I don't back I can't get back to lane to defend tower, where is enemy bot and support, jungler pinged how long till he screws up this gank), with so much to keep track of the number of wards you placed ought to be easy.
