Playing ranked with Top selecting Jhin. I ban Jhin, he picks Draven. I dodge, I lose LP, I have to endure a wait timer, AND I can't report him.

teammate selects Kai'Sa jungle, I say I'll dodge if they pick her, they pick her, I dodge, I lose LP, I have to endure a wait timer, AND I can't report him.

These people should be playing Normals. An official dodge choice should be available with a comment to explain why you did. Otherwise, the only option is to play the game, waste 30-40 minutes, lose MORE LP, then report. This is the ONLY way to punish these players currently, and it's not cool.

Normals? Hey, play whatever the heck you want. In ranked? Give me a break. Solo Queue ain't LCS, but most solo queue players IN RANKED, pay attention to the LCS and expect a certain respect towards champion select. Normals are for fun, bs, rogue nonsense, same as Flexed when coordinating a rogue strat, but ranked isn't for that, and those who don't want to play with fancy rogue picks shouldn't be punished, imo.

Damn right you can't. Riot does not enforce a meta. People cannot be banned for doing things that you don't agree with as long as they play to win.

Somehow you act surprised and hurt that people are going to pick things like Kaisa jungle in Iron/Bronze games and thinking they should be punished for that and yet you see nothing wrong with yourself trying to play a Blue Build Ezreal variation in those same games.

Frankly? At least for ranked, there should be some champions that are just straight up unselectable.

The irony is too much.

It all depends. I've seen Leona jungle do some serious work. Hell, Alistar jungle was a thing before. Just because it's not a meta pick doesn't mean it's a bad one. I'd rather someone play something troll, but be good at it, rather than someone pick a meta champ and not know what they are doing. Of course it isn't all the time. I've had a Kayle support go 0/10 and wonder how the enemy adc got so fed. You aren't in control of who plays what. Only you make the choice for yourself.

I agree. Why is everyone try to break the meta? Also, it doesn't help when smurfs play off roles and characters because that account is practice for them while affect others main account.

You know, there wouldn't be a current meta if people didn't try off meta stuff.

If everyone played according to the meta every time no exceptions the meta would be the exact same as it was in season 1.
