Void Swarm Mana cost increased to 40 / 45 / 50 / 55 / 60 from 40 at all ranks. REMOVED: Charge system. Now has a standard cooldown. Cooldown reduced to 8 seconds at all ranks from 20 / 19 / 18 / 17 / 16. NEW EFFECT: Malzahar gains a stack of Gathering Swarm when he casts another ability, up to a maximum of 2 stacks. Malzahar summons a Voidling, plus an additional Voidling per stack of Gathering Swarm, up to a maximum of 3 Voidlings par cast. REMOVED: Voidlings are no longer able to spawn additional Voidling. Cast range reduced to 150 from 450. REMOVED: Voidlings killed increasing the minion killed stat. Voidlings stats: Attack damage dealt changed to 5 - 64.5 (based on level) at all ranks from 30 / 35 / 40 / 45 / 50 (+ 40% bonus AD). Bonus magic damage dealt changed to 12 / 14 / 16 / 18 / 20 (+ 40% bonus AD) (+ 20% AP) from 10 / 15 / 20 / 25 / 30 (+ 20% AP). Attack speed growth increased to 2% from 0%. Attack speed increased to 0.665 - 0.891 (based on level) from 0.665 at all levels. Both attack's components deal magic damage from attack damage dealt as physical damage and bonus damage dealt as magic damage. Duration reduced to 8 / 8 / 9 / 9 / 10 seconds from 12 at all ranks. Health increased to 65 - 201 (based on level) from 3 (with modified damage). Armor changed to 16 - 50 (based on level) from 30 at all levels. Magic resistance reduced to 8 - 25 (based on level) from 50 at all levels. NEW EFFECT: Champions' and turrets' basic attacks will instantly kill Voidlings. All other damage will be reduced by armor and magic resistance normally. Gold reward reduced to Gold 2 from Gold 5. Movement speed reduced to 400 from 451. REMOVED: Gaining 100% bonus movement speed when running toward priority targets. REMOVED: Movement speed reduced by distance from Malzahar. REMOVED: Dealing 50% reduced damage to monsters. NEW EFFECT: Now deals 50% reduced damage to epic monsters.

Basically this nerf made malzahar w completelly useless and was unnecessary

Suggestions:

W removed, replaced with

Null Zone

Radius XY, deals x% maximum HP to each champion each second they are in the Zone and slows them by 30%.

Q buffed, to accomodate for the loss of damage from W.

R deals XY damage over time and slows the target by 50%. If the target is afflicted by his E or stands in his W, the R instead surpresses the target like it does now.

Boom, Malzahar solved.

I would rather not have Malzahar reverted. His R was really lame back then. It's much more manageable now.

I'm happy with either option, either the 2016 rework or the pre 2016 rework. Either was good, and far better then the current iteration.

Malzhar performance is just aweful now. Too much Mana requirement, terrible scaling, low mobility and short AA range, with voidlings that are stupid slow and die in 1 hit. When the HELL is RIOT going to actually DO something... we have been complaining For way too long. All we get IS (#&^#(&^ NERFS... enough is enough.
