This game is now horrible.

My arguments:

  1. Is everyone's feeling made out of glass? This is a game. You have people getting banned for weeks or even permanently banned for saying mean stuff. And as far as I know Riot is the only company that takes political correctness this seriously. In steam or battle.net games you only get punished if you seriously damages the gameplay of your teammates, for example giving away teammate location in CS:GO, or repeated spamming chatrooms in StarCraft 2. And here in LoL you have people getting banned for a week for telling a feeding teammate to kill himself. It isn't right to say mean stuff, but it is a player's right to say mean stuff.

  2. Fake and hollow community. Just look at all of the popular streamers. IMO the only two streamers that stay true to themselves are gosu and tyler1. One has polished manners, and the other has no manners. Either way, better than Brofesco, Redmercy, or Nightblue3, who has fake manners. Let me give you a example of their reactions after a kill: a) gosu: cool b) tyler1: THIS IS TYLER FKING 1! C) NB3: hahaha u boosted bonobo, gotta put them six feet under coach!!! hahaha. seriously, just listening to some of these people's voices make me want to punch their faces in.

  3. Glorification of K/D ratio There are a lot more Zed mains, Yasuo mains, Talon mains, Akali mains than say, Leona mains. Everyone simply wants kills. No one cares about CC, initiation, tank, or heal. This is why I get really tilted when I see a Lux support. Assassins are literally cancer. When you do well you take kills from teammates, when you do bad you are literally useless.

  4. Unable to comeback In this game it's really hard to make a comeback, unless your opponents slack off and start trolling or has a very bad late game composition. Which means if one teammate does poorly and feeds off a significant amount of kills, you have to spend the next 30 minutes waiting for your team to lose, which is agony. While in other competitive games you have significant chances of coming back. For example in Dota 2 comebacks are extremely often and extremely easy. A farmed hard carry hero in Dota 2 can easily 1v5. It doesn't matter if enemy team is 10 kills ahead, as long as your Anti Mage gets 3-4 core items you still have a chance. In CSGO only equipment are carried over from the previous round, and having a M16, kevlar, and helmet doesn't prevent someone with a glock from killing you if you are careless.

Feel free to comment your opinions or argue against mine.

1: No one should be cyber bullied or told to kill themselves online. Peroid. For that I am on Riots side. That deserves punishment hands down. In terms of other smack talk as in "haha you suck" then no that's just normal competitive talk and should be allowed so yes then people need to get thicker skin for that...but bullying and telling people to kill themselves or anything like that should be punishable by ban.

2: I don't watch many streamers but comparing the 3 I do agree. The more I watch other streamers the less I do enjoy watching NB3 or the "entertainment" streamers and enjoy the educational ones and ones that aren't obnoxious.

3: Yes everyone likes kills but really nothing will take away the "glory" of having those kills.

4: Comebacks are harder yes but not impossible. Biggest issue I see is that once behind instead of defending or waiting for the enemy team to make a mistake and capitalize on it, they just want to fight and fight. Many teams, especially in lower elo, don't realize that if behind (maybe not even by kills but by towers and dragons) you need to catch up by farm and try to SAFELY get towers while warding.
So I don't think Comebacks are impossible just that low elos know how to do it.

  1. people while they have the right should not be bad mouthing someone over a computer game, i mean seriously "kill yourself?" have some common decency people it's a video game it's not life or death. and as i tell people if you can't say anything nice about someone please keep your damn mouths shut. people come to play and have fun not be belittled while trying to have fun.

  2. i don't watch a lot of streamers well besides jacobsnakeup i love watching him try to climb and he seems rather true to himself if you ever have the chance give him a look.

  3. everyone wants kills, but if you work together to get the kill who cares who gets it in the first place your team gets gold you and the player who helped get the kill get gold and everyone goes on their merry way. yes there is some form of glory if you get the kill, but remember it's a "team game" meaning you can't really be mad when your team wants to help you secure kills kill stealing or not.

  4. comebacks are hard in this game, but not impossible i have seen teams come back after being snowballed and pull off miracles. the important thing to remember is if you are behind in lane, don't try to engage relax poke the enemy if they get to close and then back off and worry about farm. while it seems like the lack luster thing to do it's the best thing to do, if you see a teamate that's ahead and you know you can secure the kill GO IN but other then that play it safe if you get behind work with your team focus on objectives and fight only if you feel you can get something out of it and you should be able to make that glorious come back and then some.
