Minions can do more than you think

People underestimate minions so much. Basically, they suicide just to do some damage to champions and towers, as well as other minions. They also keep the game interesting by giving each team gold.

But people don't realize how much minions do. I'm sure everyone's seen the Banner of Command + ZzRot Portal trick from URF. I've seen plenty of Xeraths and Vel'Koz go into a horde of minions just to land an ability without it hitting a minion, and they end up taking as much damage as they dealt even if they hit the enemy, and even if the enemy doesn't hit them back. This is because of the minions.

And the main reason behind this is how people are fooled by the extremely small DPS, but in reality they do just as much damage as the majority of champions, in lane.

Just don't go into a wave of minions to land a skillshot. It isn't a good idea.
