You know I haven't been playing league for too long but i'm scrolling down the champ select list and i'm noticing these pretty good champs that can do a ton of damage but they are hardly ever picked.

Where are they ? Did the league community decide to lock up these champs because they weren't interesting to play with ?
Jalkan2 votesWhen Urgot was played in last year's LCS, he was a mid laner. Top and mid fit him better than bot because he's basically an AD caster bruiser.

MajinBell1 votesI agree viktor and syndra are great in lane but like i said before i rarely see them, I usually see people picking mid champs like Yasuo, Annie, Lux, Ahri, zed , and even the occasional ezreal at some points.

swain is god tier with experience but has a lot of downsides but the recent nerf hurt him
urgots a meme, it took an lcs player playing him okish to make people stop bashing him for a while. hes a great anti carry and i think he is a perfect champ against all ad people
zilean is super good, never ever let anyone say otherwise EVER. why he isn't played is beyond me, his support is super good and you don't even need to build ap
i think viktor is super cool, but i think most people give up trying to get the hang of his laser

the joke with urgot is his entire existence, just picking him causes your team to lose faith in you. if you carry, you are urgod but the moment you die you get flamed for picking a shit champ and trolling

For this season I plan on continuing with Galio, and adding in Swain and potentially Nunu into my champion pool.
I think a lot of people focus on what is currently considered OP/broken, while i've always just focused on what I enjoy, find fun, and is in my skill range.

In preseason i'm still sorting out the mana issue. Season 5 after you got athene's, mana was under control. Season 6 will be about masteries, runes, and budgeting your mana accordingly. When mages were dominating mid months ago, he was fairly strong.
To some he's considered secretly OP. All I know is us Galio mains don't want any attention on him either way. He is mana hungry, but great at pushing lanes and pressuring. He can build tanky or ap, or somewhere in the middle. His ult can be game changing if timed properly. I've grown very fond of him.
There will always be OP/broken champions. MF is my adc main who is obviously enjoying her time in the spotlight. She'll eventually cycle out, like Veigar (another one I love to play) has. It's usually how it goes. Majority flocks to what they think is strong, the dedicated play what they want regardless. As long as we're all having fun and enjoying the champions we play. I know I am. :)
