Malzahar Rework

Will Malzahar ever get a rework? And by that I mean full rework with visual and gameplay changes. I know he's not weak right now, but as somebody who used to play him a lot and just recently picked him up i got to say, he feels pretty clunky and bad to play. I mean, i feel like other mages do his job better, safer and faster yet I still like him for how unique his gameplay pattern is. I'd like to know what Riot thinks about his current situation.

He's not the most common of mages, but his AoE silence, %health damage, crazy DoT, and suppression do put him in a unique spot. You won't use him every game, but he's good at what he does.

First off, I'd like to say he is incredibly strong, or at least he was all through Season 4. He is ever so slightly weaker in preseason, but his winrate is still 52%+. He carries SoloQ ridiculously well with his high AoE damage and tank killing capabilities. He has a meh laning phase but he scales incredibly well and outputs absolutely ridiculous damage in teamfights.

As for a rework, I don't think he needs one. With the TU that he has on the PBE, he looks alright (though the colors are a bit off), and his gameplay is both unique and fun, and there is nothing really wrong with the kit at all.

I actually disagree, I was personally using Malz a lot in S4 as an anti-assassin. All the Yasuos, Fizzes, Kats, and Zeds learned their lesson about diving.

I didn't say he's weak, but compared to Azir, Syndra and other mages his gameplay doesn't feel fun at all. Also being forced to buy mana items because his mana pool and mana costs are so outdated feels kinda weird.

-> That's my opinion and I'd like to know how Riot feels about his current state. I mean, over 3 years on this game and Riot barely touched him.

He does not need a rework, he hasa good win ratio even at higher Elos.

He does a good job at pushing, tank shredding AND CC'ing. At the same time he remains vulnearable which balances him out.

He's a good example how a champion should be and should rather be a role model for reworks than getting reworked.
