What ideas do you guys have about changing the tribunal system to make it more fair for everyone?
This account was recently banned for verbal harassment after 2 years of playing. It made me think about my words and actions in game and made me decide that 1.) I would not purchase anymore RP for the game and 2.) I would make a new 'smurf' account and strive to be as positive as I could possibly be, In order to kind of 'start new'.
After playing up to level 8, I received a chat restriction for 12 games...
I was confused because I feel as though I really didn't do anything to deserve the 12 game restriction. With that, I thought about what behaviors I might've done that may've not been report worthy behaviors, but someone may've reported me for it simply because...they are noobs and do not understand the tribunal system yet.
I think that we should have a thresh-hold set by the amount of honors an account receives before they can use the report button. So say that before you reach the set thresh-hold of 50-100 honors, you are unable to use the report button. Once you have gotten the thresh-hold amount of honors, you can begin using honors as currency. For each honor that you earn, you may give 1 report.
However, (this idea came from another user on here, I'm sorry, I don't know your name but you commented on one of my posts and if you read this you can take credit for this idea...lol) The honors should correspond with the report type. Honors: Reports: Friendly - Verbal harassment, verbal abuse, etc. Teamwork-Assisting enemy team, AFK, etc. Helpful- Intentionally feeding, etc.
This way, we would encourage each other to honor and be friendly to one another, while really cracking down and ensuring that reports aren't just being handed out like demerits in a middle school hallway. Problems had: early on in the leveling system for new accounts, it would be hard for this system to be affective because players may be toxic with NO way to reprimand them, virtually making every account untouchable for the first 20 or so levels...UNLESS a player is duoing with a level 30 ranked silver player who has 10 friendly honors racked up to be spent. But this is also no good, because its unfair for the newer players and their play style...UNLESS we could all adapt this helpful behavior where even if the enemy team has a complete nooby (feeder) player and the level 30 could actually step up and HELP the poor newbie with what ever horrible misclick he keeps plunging into. So players we should really think about these things, and work TOWARDS playing good games rather then against them.
the system is just too free will...you can report ANYONE FOR ANYTHING. my boyfriend reported the enemy adc for killing him for his lfirst and last death...so dumb! no one should have to receive a report for something that is illegitimate and have it actually count against them like theyre the flagrant players.
Rant over...I just am curious what your thoughts on the tribunal system may be though...lol. I wanna get this thing changed!
