In Silver with High MMR - Should I just quit the game?

Currently I'm in Silver 2 but my MMR seems to be on average around 200 pts better than my league. This leads often to me being the only silver in my games. Not quite sure why the system works like this. If I deserve to be playing against higher people, than let me climb out of silver. Instead I find myself playing with golds/plats, losing (certainly not carrying any games). Not even sure how the silver is relevant in matchmaking but I am stuck here. Should I just quit playing? Or is there any way for me to tank my MMR? I am tired of playing against plats - and having my team rage at me for being silver. Seems as though there are some serious problems in matchmaking at the moment, across all skill levels.

the shitty part. is that if you fuck up or tilt in 2-3 games and you lose in a row your mmr goes down and it takes. forever. forever. for them to actually put you with high mmr players that match your division. and actually bring your mmr back up.

Team has an MMR cap and you eat all of it causing bronzes to be matched with you?
