Let's say you are stuck in a Tier 5 and you don't get demoted...

what's the point in being stuck in there then? The only thing that can save your MMR would be someone who's willing to play with you and has a higher rank to boost your Hidden-elo. Since at Diamond (my current Tier) the rank differences for duoqing is too small to do that, I suggest that there should be an option to instantly demote after getting stuck. We all know these tryhards that don't want to get demoted, but it would be healthier, for them and for the poor teammates that see the 0/4/0 Riven trying to carry.

tl;dr Being stuck in X 5 and not get demoted only hurts your MMR in the long run, as well as the MMR of your teammates.

maybe we can delete this system and stick with the old elo system hehe. Since this new system is garbage and makes promos an unwinnable grind fest. And no before you talk this isnt my main. And i was dia 2 before i gave up on league a month or so ago and when i got my promos to D1 i got 2 challengers on my team but guess what they int feed their asses off. I also got a lot of 80% winrate smurfs everytime im in promo for one of them i wanna kill myself even tho i'm like 5-6 tiers above the guys i play with they do everything possible to lose the fucking game. And why the FUCK do 60%+ winrates match 50% winrates at any given rank outside master/chall. You think the guy with 90% winrate after 40games is on the same level with the hardstuck player with 50% winrate over 600games? i think not.

The system is aids and needs to be changed there is no skill promoted only grind and abuse of broken champs. I got accs where i get diamond in 40games and accs where it takes 60 and 70 unless i play meta or semi decent champs. I'm glad i gave up playing this game and only comeback to it for the money. Even CS:go is more fun atm and i'm terrible at it cause im not used not beeing able to strafe while shooting.

you mean... boosted gold 5? because we all know most players just go gold 5 and never play ranked again until the next season just to get a free skin ..

The point is so that it's easier to climb back into division 5 if you drop out due to trolls/lose streak/etc

"But you will lose 30 LP on a loss and gain 15 on a win, so it won't be easier to climb back in" -> you need to win like 1 or 2 games to qualify for promos if you "accidentally" drop out.

It's just to make it less grindy if you want the border but don't wanna flat-out quit when you get there.
