Late Game Sucks (And how to fix it
Right now that Mid to Late Game area where red team is fed out the [REDACTED], Where the bot lane Jhin has 100% crit chance and a 530 AD bc he got some kills early game and started to roam. That game where your top laner decided he'd bring Zyra into a fight against Darius. Where your Mid thought to himself, what if i could master Yi Mid. the games where at this point someone has fed the wildlife and now red team has some unkillable menace traipsing across the map 1v1ing a tower bc he felt like it. That and at 15-30 minutes Your team has probably shifted to team fighting so the economy has slowed to a crawl unless your getting kills.
Can in late game (around the 30ish minute mark) and every time a tower is lost on your side, their be an increase to the gold per second earned. Not much. Just 2 or 3 gold per tower lost and maybe 1/2.5 minutes starting at 10-15. That way if your team is managing to defend itself and its objectives theres a way to catch up that doesn't involve a coordinated effort to get your best player enough gold to start retaliating.
Hopefully it will also lower the toxicity that occurs by making late game not just you getting shat on by the support with full build and encourage team fighting to be skill based and not just who can button mash to get the most gold early game. Hopefully then if your team can hold itself alive for a long enough period of time you have a chance at winning and your not just at the benevolence of the next baron spawn for them to finally accidentally finish it.
The math is that currently at the start of the game you get 20.4 gold per 10s (2 a second) If your game runs 30 minutes long and you've somehow kept all your towers alive, your now earning 8 gold a second. Its still less than what you'd earn if you we're farming right early game but if you throw a tower or two in their now your at 14 gold a second. If you're really getting your behind delivered to you at spawn because you died before they could hand it to you and now your down to your two Nexus turrets 35 gold a second. That's a lot. Wait 10-15 seconds and you can buy most any crafting piece (
etc) for the item. At that point you start being able to fight the enemy team, your respawn time becomes a Bloodthirster waiting to happen. Late game will start to feel like less of a chore and more of a comeback, a reward for hanging on this long.
I don't know how y'all would take this but i feel it could help late game, even if the amounts are a little too high.
