Return of Nexus Blitz?

Is it just me or has Riot kept us utterly in the dark about Nexus Blitz ever since they took it away? I was hoping to see some news with the coming of patch 9.15 but looks like nothing has changed. ARURF has been extended by two weeks so we can expect not to see Nexus Blitz for at least that long.

Personally I really enjoyed Nexus Blitz and it has made me come back to playing LoL. However at this point it feels like the betas were just a tease and I'm beginning to lose interest again. ARURF is not my thing, I'm not enjoying it because its too much of a departure from standard LoL.

I'm going out of the way here to write a post about it because there isn't really another way for me to show my support for the return of NB.

I hate AURF or URF. Someone needs to legit tell me what's so appealing about the mode. It's the worst thing League has ever made and the novelty ran out for me after the second year they did it.

weirdly enough this is the first time i played arurf after like 3 seasons or so. i guess being able to just crazy spam everything and shit going down all the time just has... something. but as someone who loves to splitpush the strategic part is missing :(

The base game is absolutely so shit and the only way to enjoy League for me was playing Nexus Blitz.

Nexus Blitz is a WIP, meaning it's still in deveolpement. It's not that they can't bring it back, or won't, it's that they're likely still polishing up assets, or tuning new modes for it. Sadly, it means we're going to need patience.

Well, they will probably ruin it tbh. Like making it random characters, or removing the new items in the gm.

Imo, the only thing they need to change; Bug fixes with some of the events, some of them are cool, like kalista ult on the scuttle race is hilarious remove some of the events / tweak them, ie the loot events spawning in the enemy base is just straight up stupid.

You think Riot cares about adding other permanent gamemodes? They just want us to play budget LC$ every game.

Because they try to add new things and make it interesting so that it doesn't have the URF effect where everyone leaves after playing it. It's still in beta, it's not a completed format yet, it was merely just playable. Who best to test it than the league community?

they mentioned not enough players played it so they couldn't make it permanent. But id go as far as to say that majority of people were playing it and they didn't want the main game to die so they just made some bullshit up. I mean a normal length game is good but can be quite tedious when you're getting hammered and have to stick it out for 30 odd minutes. At least with nexus blitz you were straight in and straight out into the next one. That's just my opinion. People say they're polishing it to potentially bring it back out for good but i highly doubt it

Riot please bring Nexus Blitz back! It was an amazing FUN mode. Everyone who commented about this game loved it! Not a single person disliked this mode. Everyone was having fun and no one was toxic. Now that twisted tree line is gone this would be an awesome replacement. Please and thank you!
