Is Ashe getting played outside of ADC viable now?
she's supposed to be played adc, but her new kit could enable her to be played in other roles like mid or something so is it?

If you play her as anything other than an Attack Damage Carry, you're fucking stupid. As long as you're doing that, however, it doesn't really matter whether you go mid or bot.
The thing is, as an immobile AD carry. Bringing Ashe mid is just asking to get jungler camped every game. Sure her kiting powers are now alot better, but its not good for multiple targets since one enemy can body block her entire volley with the change its getting.
Its just how the game is. There are some AD carries that can do well in solo lanes, Ezreal, Lucian to name a few. Because they have mobility and can escape jungler ganks with ease on their own. Ashe can not without blowing her ult point blank (And if you do, the stun duration isn't that high)
I thought Ashe support might be a little more viable since Hawkshot is going to be global and the slow on her autos isn't going to be a massive mana suck at early levels, but otherwise I think she's mostly only going to be a kite-heavy ADC, since Ashe support with her soft CC (save for her ult) isn't going to keep up with supports that can heal or shield (Janna, Morgana, or Sona , for example) or consistently dish out hard CC (Leona, Thresh, Nautilus, Braum, etc.).
Otherwise, she's too squishy and vulnerable to ganks to be taken anywhere but a duo lane.
