Seriously riot, I get you guys a full of bad ideas of late. ill let the format slide in that it's not all bad. However does anyone actually think this locking in every damn thing does anything except annoy people? I mean if you pick a champ but don't click lock in...you are there so why does it kick for not locking in? It's not like the guy is afk....seriously riot its just annoying and serves zero purpose. What were you thinking, how can we piss off the community more?

I think it's a good idea, makes champ select go much faster when everyone isn't just waiting for the timer to expire.

Let me clarify my point. Riot it just seems like of late your game plan has been to intentionally piss off your player base to see how much you can get away with well still staying in business.

Normally you have 3 choices:

  1. Pick, then wait for timer to run out <- what many, many people do
  2. Lock in at the last second.
  3. Lock in immediately after you decide what you'll play

Except people don't actually ever do #2:

  1. Pick, then wait for timer to run out
  2. Lock in at the last second -> not many people actually do this
  3. Lock in immediately after you decide what you'll play

Now Riot removed #1:

  1. Pick, then wait for timer to run out -> removed
  2. Lock in at the last second -> not many people actually do this
  3. Lock in immediately after you decide what you'll play

Thus, forcing you to lock in makes champ select go much faster.
