A possible rework for Azir

I already know that a lot of people will not like this...but...Im gonna say it anyway.

So my suggestion to make Azir (Our Lord) a much cleaner/easier champion to balance while still keeping his signature soldier management style gameplay. However, my rework makes Azir more of a proper zone control mage than the part zone control, part ap dps, part high mobility mage, and part high impact engage mage:

Passive: same

W: stays the same, including the current range.

Q: All soldiers will throw their lances a fixed distance, in the direction of the point indicated. When the soldiers throw their lances they will immediately disappear. The lance will go throw minions and champions and it slows everything that it goes through. The distance that the lance will go is relative to soldier rather than azir, however it isnt very far.

E: The E will be a scaled down version of emperors divide. Rank one will only have 1 shield solder. just like anivia's wall the width will increase as you rank it up to a total of 3 (or 2, i still dont know) soldiers at rank 5. the ap scaling on the ability will be minimal, of course. The ability will knock up and knock back any enemies to the max distance of the ability. If the E is casted and is interrupted by a wall or obstruction of any kind (basically if its not allowed to extend to max length) the cc will be changed to a stun. So it allows you to do some shifty flash E combos.

R: This will simply summon 4 (or 5) soldiers at once. The soldiers will be organized in semi circle pointing away from Azir. When this ability is active the W is inactive. The soldiers can do exactly the same as the regular soldiers.

Well thats the rework. I was torn with his Q. Another iteration I had in mind was to let the Q do what it already does but once it was cast the soldiers duration lowered to 1 second. As you rank up the ability the duration becomes normal. Another one that i fought over was keeping the E change the same but replace the stun on wall contact to a slow if hit with the E and adding an ability to recast the E to make azir himself move half the distance of the E soldier towards it.

I mean he is almost impossible to win a game with currently, so this would pretty much be the same thing lol.

I don't really like this.

It seems a bit too bland and there's far too much emphasis on summoning soldiers.

I Agree totally..he is too hard to play especially against the dive overtuned champs rito is releasing now. Need to give him a direct dash ability and something that can heal or make him invisible
