Assassin Update: Discussing Effects on Lux

I have a few possible issues on how the assassin update may affect my favorite champion: Lux. I hope Riot delivers the update well enough so that these possibilities are negated. I have feelings that the assassin update will still have no counter play potential due to the nature of the class, increased impossibility of landing skill shots or forcing of terrible scenarios that have no counter play, or scariest, an uprise of an über tank meta to deal with the new assassins without any compensation to other classes to deal with this. The last point is definitely the scariest since high damage tanks is already meta and very hard to deal with as a champion such as Lux. Her current only option against assassins is to burst them before they can burst you, which is rather hard with things such as tank Ekko and tank fizz that still one shot you regardless. Even non-assassins turned into tanks have the ability to 1-shot a Lux with limited ability for a lux to kill them. Lux has no way of dealing with tanks. I'm not saying add a % health to lux, just something that could help deal with these tanks. I propose an addition to Lux's passive that after 2 or 3 spell casts on an enemy within 8 seconds, lux gains 25% magic penn on that target. or maybe just a slight increase in potency of her cc after so many spell casts (this one would grant no help to her one shot potential but also improve her kiting/ability to deal with tankier targets). This is just where I see the meta going after the assassin update or even before it. This may even help improve higher Elo Lux players since her win rate drops from 50.3% mid lane in bronze to 46.4% mid lane in diamond. This would also create a higher learning curve to Lux as it is more punishing if you either use everything all at once or are not able to land your skill shots. It grants higher impact against tankier teams without breaking her while being a completely useless update if the player cannot position correctly or are forced to use their abilities as zoning. Current Lux is throw a combo then assist your adc. I believe this update could give lux more options and help with what I fear will come out of the assassin update. I am praying to the Rito gods that über tank meta rendering a lux useless doesn't happen and perhaps they look into some sort of extension to lux. I'm going to conduct some more research and ask around some higher Elo lux mains than I am and see what they think and write a better more clean post, but I felt as though I needed to express my current thoughts and maybe get some feedback by the boards. Please give me any info or thoughts you have regarding this matter.
