You will win if your team is good. You will lose if your team is shit. It doesnt fuckin matter what you do. and I am now going to fight anyone who tried to tell anyone new to this game its not. Elo hell is real Ive seen it its bullshit and its all based on luck. Just the header alone is enough to turn anyone away. You seem to just be incredibly blinded by rage and anger of not being able to climb. If this game is really luck based then I don't see how countless amounts of players can go into low elo and get out in around 50 or less games. I would tell you to learn from mistakes among other things like just see what others do to win low elo games but you will most likely just meet it with hostility so I will say work on the way you see the people you play with and your overall attitude towards the game. You also say improving doesn't matter but it does you are not improving one way or another. I would say you have a lot to think about when it comes to attitude and perspective.[sg-miss-fortune]

Alright, I decided to try to help him out, against my better judgement. Y'know, give him advice and all.

After he shot down all of my ideas, I asked if he wanted to play a game, to which he replied:

Reply

We won.

Game results

After the game, he unfriended me, I added him back because I wanted to talk.

After Game Logs #1

He did nothing but harass me and call me garbage, with 1 or 2 compliments.

After Game Logs #2 After Game Logs #3 After Game Logs #4 After Game Logs #5

(Cut out his name so that this post doesn't get deleted by Rito for "name shaming")

learn two roles and support ( or just one and support works too) and get VERY good at them... climbing out of bronze isn't that hard.

there is a LOT of luck involved with the teammates you get, that is true.. but you can still clinb if u have the time, the exeperice, the skill and to put in ranked games

if youre hard stuck in bronze for 4 years, then youre clearly doing something wrong.

Did you know that a fair amount of professional-tier games of MtG are decided because someone is forced to mulligan down to 5 cards before the game even starts because of luck?

League of Legends is a fundamentally team-strategy based game (or so they claim in marketing). This means that, in solo-queue, a lot of your success comes down to luck. As I showed in my earlier example, this doesn't mean that the ranking system is useless. The ranking system is not perfect, but inevitably it sorts itself out because of probabilities. Better players won't win every game, but they will be able to win games that a worse player wouldn't. If you play to the best of your ability you can win slightly more games than someone who isn't as skilled, and by winning these extra games and taking advantage of this edge you will eventually climb.

The only way this doesn't work is if you lose hope partway through and begin to play worse because of emotions or frustration.

I can understand your frustration. ELO hell does exist; to some degree. Honestly, when it comes to climbing, it's all about your mindset. If you go into every single ranked game with the attitude you displayed in your OP, it's no wonder you're not climbing. You have to have a positive outlook on every game - even with AFKS, even with "feeders", even with "dumb" teammates. You will climb. But your mindset must be positive, not negative.

I played solo and went from b5 to g5 and reached a peak of p5 this season in a handful of games. I just had to learn I was the problem and make efforts to get better. Once you get off your stupid high horse then maybe you'll actually climb. That or you'll get banned because you seem like such a joy to play with. Seriously link a video or two of your gameplay. Show the world how you deserve challenger and it's your team that holds you back. I am 100% positive if you were actually deserving of a rank than you would have already earned it.
