Prove to me no Elo Hell exsists.

Very simple. I'm not going to argue with you. Just post videos of you following the criteria I set.

  1. Start at Bronze 5 on any account (full runes mast's whatever)

  2. Solo que (not duo) only (You cannot group with your talented and fellow challenger teammates and friends. You have to deal with the same player base as all of us.

  3. Record segments of you going from B5 lets just say Gold. heck Id take a few recordings of you dealing with the afk's feeders and trolls we deal with. And still winning.

One of Two things will happen. You prove me wrong and we "that belong in bronze" learn from your recordings or two, you fail and finally understand ELO hell exists.

Talking posts with no actual work done will be completely ignored. Talks cheap.

YOU PROVE THAT IT EXISTS!!! record your games and show me that even though you play perfect YOUR TEAM loses the game EVERY TIME. you are so full of yourself.

"i do well all the time, but MY TEAM...."

Continue to blame an imaginary force holding you back, that's surely the best way to progress.

I'm starting to get an idea why you're still where you are.

@Zenkage, Have you seen Nightblue on youtube? he ELO dived before, and went from Bronze 5 to challenger. "irrelevent because he is challenger"?? It is still proof. And ive been to bronze 5 myself. and i can assure you that you can get out.

Literally any time a high tier player smurf and climb. Done.

Off topic, and no sarcasm intended, but uh...can you elaborate on how to get to bronze V without breaking any rule or sportsmanlike conduct? I'm not trying to offend or embarrass anyone, I'm genuinely asking in all seriousness. I got 3 accounts to lvl30 so far, and I played all 10 placements as supports, not doing anything outstanding, and I still couldn't get into bronze, which I was actually trying to get into. And no, please do not tell me I have to troll my teammate as singed support stealing jungle camps or running down mid feeding.

The initial placements make it difficult to get into bronze especially if you are doing them late into the season. The easiest way is to be bronze elo and spam ranked when you are silver, and you will drop. Or if you are silver 3-5, at the end of the season when the ranks reset, you will ikely get bronze after completing your placements.

Immortal spax1 votes

lvl 30 mmr is like silver 5, so if you go even 4/6 in your placement you will get s5 anyway.

I'm bronze 4 and even I know it doesn't exists, I was only bronze 1 last season but I don't care, i'm confident in my skill and so far it's been an easy climb, it's not all skill, it's about encouraging your team to not give up when behind, hell I convinced my bot lane to not ff a game with a fed Zilean "support" and we won that game. You don't tell them to stop feeding and you most certainly don't give the, "report our troll bot pls", even if they're toxic, keep your cool and stay positive

I used to be super toxic and holy shit, ever since reforming i've won so much more often, the key to winning in bronze is do good in lane, cs, ward, help other lanes, and don't be toxic, it's that easy

as for afk's and feeders, that's no excuse, it happens in all elos but it's not holding challengers from climbing so why should we use it as an excuse?

Zenkage1 votes

Tried being nice 2 ppl feed one afks its pointless. Show me or I don't believe you.

Dracocrash2 votes

hmm.. you want proof? Got placed bronze 3 last season, ended gold 5.

ELO hell doesn't exist.

Except its easier to carry in low MMR's because the enemy team is also bad.

I'm stuck in the silver elo hell.

My team over-estimates their damage (being killed by the enemy under their tower because apparently having 100 attack damage does NOT equal hitting the enemy with 180 health twice.)

My team is always out of position (Mid and jng go to gank top, they push top under their tower and keeps them there; the enemy team takes dragon.)

My team cannot capitalize on advantages (ie: 3 the enemies died for free, so we back and buy instead of taking baron, backing then buying.)

I see these problems happen every game and I can't get my team to stop being dumb. What's the difference between silver and bronze? Maybe we've accepted that we make these mistakes too.... idk.

Elo hell doesn't exist. It's sure as hell hard to get out as a support main though. You basically have to perform higher than your actual rank. It's harder than other roles to get out of.

0otay1 votes

I beg to differ.. Playing support in Bronze and climbing out is so easy. Im a bard main, and im really not that good, i was just kind to my team mates and i encouraged them to work together, all i did was ulti enemy team to start team fights.

The real elo hell is Silver. I climbed from Bronze to Silver like 4 times last season. Not quite easy but not quite hard either. But Silver.....whoa boy now that's hell to climb out of.

I started my first season b1 after rankeds. I went to b5 becuase I really didnt know yet how to play. I started watching the oddone Steam. I ended the season in plat5/4 cant remember exactly. I don't have Video prove because why would I Recorder myself if im not planning to make a YouTube Channel or anything similar.

Elo hell isn't in Bronze, it's in Diamond 1. There, the team with the most Master/Challenger smurfs wins. Was such a bitch to climb out of it.

Ataraxic1 votes

of course it exists. see the instant avoidance of your OP trying to bash it away off topic and with toxicity? classic deflection.

Those bashing the OP. a re suing invalid logic.
The same logic that woulds say smoking doesn't cause cancer becasue some people can smoke till they are 100 and dont get cancer. so therefore smoking doesnt cause cancer. shame.

Okay, you want me to prove this to you? I will.

Give me a B5 account. I can't get to B5 without literally afking every game. My advanced skillset won't allow me to play THAT badly -- kappa.

I will actually start streaming. Wait. I'll take it a STEP further. I'll STREAM from the TOP of the champ list and CLIMB to gold ONE TRICKING EVERY CHAMP IN LEAGUE. Oh shiet.... sounds like I have a challenge.

Start me off. First champ to hit gold with is Aatrox. Starting from B5. Bring it on chump.

Well you went overboard. A challenger player can do whatever the hell he (or she) wants to do in bronze. Like you thought they had a god complex before? Now they actually ARE god. They can solo carry with whoever and whenever they want. To very high elo players the concept of 'elo hell' is just a farce

Edit: I truly believe after some deep thought that elo hell is just a state of mind. If you truly believe and try that you will make it out of bronze and stay calm with a positive mindset and you truly do have the skill. It is statistically IMPOSSIBLE for you to stay in bronze. (this is coming from a bronze player btw). I've been in bronze for a while and yes I've come to admit that while I may BELIEVE that I'm at least silver I lack the skill to BECOME silver. Think about it...

Honestly Elo hell doesn't exist.

Granted Yes the climb from bronze to Gold is one of the most stressful and painful things you will ever do in a video game but, but the inclination that elo hell exist is false.

the issue with the ranking system is that its horribly designed.

  1. New players should not start in Silver Ranking. This has always been a issue because players who were in previous seasons have to not only fight through people who are also In bronze But also through a sea of New to play players who are trying out ranked games for the first time of their account.

  2. The mind set of Bronze players is one of the most toxic assets of Bronze players. Because of the forums the Bronze players all believe " F my team I need to carry my self out" This is like a mortal wound to Team Work Because the majority of Bronze players already have a negative mind set, and the moment one person dies or one mistake is made They are already Set to Snap rage and flame who ever else is on their team .

I don't know how many times I see one person die and suddenly its " GG, Surrender at 20 , Go kill your self!, Leave it to the (insert racial slur / Curse word followed by mom) To feed then this continues for the next 30-40 minutes, with the constant spam of /surrender.

  3. People in bronze. in many cases Don't want to play any thing besides their " MAIN" and if they are put in a position where they don't not their main they cry about it in champion select till some one trades or they pick the champ they main in the lane and lose

In short sorry for the rambling

The issue isn't about a Elo hell the issue is the fact that there is no team work in Bronze because of the mind set of the bronze player. If you're already crying ELO HELL EXIST

then you yourself will never get out of bronze because your mind set is already set to toxic levels.

yes we all have bad teams we all have bad games we all get those trolls

But the winners are those who accept it and move on either for a win or a loss and just go to the next game..

The losers were the ones who just start crying about it and never grow or succeed cause you focus on the negativity and already defeat your self before that giant colored crystal blows up .

Although I'd say, whatever elo you're at is elo hell.

I hate plat. They're terrible. I've felt this way about every elo, I started in B5
