Level 6 Master is a rip off

Riot,

I want and deserve level 6 mastery on my main champion. I have earned 6 or so Ss since hitting level 5 mastery. The funny thing is, most people complaining about this are complaining that they have to pay for shards to get mastery. I don't even care about that. I would pay you 25 dollars right now to give me the shards to upgrade to level 6 mastery.

As a matter of fact, that's what I tried to do. I just spent around 20 dollars in RP rolling random chests, when i don't care AT ALL about any of the champions or skins I will get, just to look for blue essence. I found 195 blue essence - not enough for level 6 mastery. Now I'm just feeling ripped off and like I don't want to give you my money ever again.

What a terrible business model. First of all, the fact that I have to pay you money to get mastery on a champion is idiotic. The only thing that could possibly be worse for your business is the fact that I'm WILLING to indulge in your farce and pay you cash out of my pocket for my mastery... and I don't even have the option to do that. I just have to waste time and money rolling random chests over and over getting meaningless stuff that has no value to me.

Bad business Riot. I won't be buying RP again any time soon.

you didn't HAVE to pay for mastery, you CHOSE to. I have my 2 tokens for Lulu and have no intention of paying for chests. The champ shard thing goes live next patch so why even bother?

We will be getting champion shard chests that can be bought with IP in a future patch. It was said right in the patch notes. So come back then.

No, what's stupid is the fact that riot linked mastery 6 and 7 to their hextech system.. meaning if you're on your "reform period after a chat restriction" you can not earn tokens even when the champ shards go live next patch to be purchased for IP.. it's really a dumb system how you can earn up to 5 during restrictions, but heaven forbid you do well in a game and receive your S rank only to be told, "hah haha, you were toxic one day and now your hard work doesn't pay off!"

People thinking they deserve an S. You have to realize if the majority curbstomps with your champ the system bases it off that.... so if the majority is going like 15/1/4 or such with your champ then for an S you need to go like 25/1/2 and thats not including warding, CSing and obj control. Play your champ, be a good player.. The S's will come.
