ELO and Ranked Climbs

My sole concern at the moment is that for over a year I have been stuck in lower Bronze because my ELO value is making it harder and harder to win matches based on who I'm matched with. I feel that pretty soon Ranked will be nearly unwinnable, which isn't supposed to happen for any player, therefore I think low ELO is potentially game-breaking for people like me who are fed up with loss streaks. Is there a way to reset an ELO rating and start over without making a new account?

It looks like you're just bad. You take heal exhaust on everything, you don't upgrade your trinket, your solo lane cs is terrible, your runes and masteries aren't good and neither are your builds.

Making a new account isn't going to make you any better.

That is real advice. Get better at csing, building and adjust your runes and masteries to the most efficent ones for the champs you wanna play. You can find most off of Mobafire. Also start taking flash, pretty obvious there.

Now at op

Not taking flash is a big nono unless you're shaco or singed. On singed you still take ghost for mobility. Flash is going to save you from so many situations. Lack of cs in a solo lane probably comes from you being overly aggressive.

Honestly if you're going to keep blaming your team for your poor judgement then you're just going to stay in bronze. If you absolutely refuse to learn from your own mistakes and not take the advice of others you are truly bad. And that is truly, truly outrageous. Taric

what's with your item builds? they just don't make any sense.

neither do your summoners.

and how do you ward so little when you're support? you literally ward half the amount as the enemy support and you have a fully upgrade sight stone and still use stealth ward trinkets.

Okay so your MMR is about 100 lower than the average Bronze V player. This means you'll be losing more LP per loss than you'll gain by winning. This means in order to climb easily you need to fix your MMR simply by playing. Since it's only 100 MMR it'll likely only take ~10 games to get your MMR to a correct level. Especially if you get lucky and you get placed against harder enemy players.

On your play from what I can see on Op.gg your basics seem to be a bit off. Your most recent Leona game shows me your build and level up path is off. The best path is Q->E->W and then max priority is R->W->Q->E. It's better to start with 3 biscuits and your support item. A pink ward isn't going to do much for you compared to the 300 hp sustain from more pots. Your summoners are also pretty poor. You want to take flash and ignite/exhaust (depending on the enemy lane and yours. If they have a squishy lane take ignite otherwise take exhaust).

Your masteries are wrong you should take 0/12/18. In the Resolve tree trade Recovery for Unyielding. In the resolve tree take Meditation and Bandit. Your runes are also wrong. Your marks and seals are fine, but for your glyphs you want flat MR and for your quints you want flat AD. Fix these and you'll see an increase in your Leona win rate. You don't want to enter a game already behind because of your runes/masteries.

Your basic build path is also pretty bad on Leona. You want to rush sightstone, and then work on your support item. Your base build is item 2049 into item 3401 into item 3117 . The rest of your items would then depend on the game with item 3025 item 3068 item 3742 item 3190 all being strong buys.

Fixing these basic things even without improving your mechanics I bet would improve your winrate and remove you from the trap you're in.

in theory rushing Sight is great, but low elo you need to farm for ur ADC, so a mini upgrade on FotM needs to be done i'll say. Then get sight stone.

However, anything above bronze or good lane, get sightstone first.

i personally like item 3143 since it helps a bit with crit and slows enemy AS. Is it OP, not really. But i like it. But against Blue Ez or something like that then say item 3025 or item 3742 would seem better.

And then item 3190 for the MR and to aid allies with MR.

The boots i can get as 3rd item, but item 3111 if enemy doesnt have much AP instead of item 3190 . That tenacity is quite good, and locket isn't the cheapest cost effective thing out there.
