Why am I losing more Lp in this situation.

Trying to fully understand this game, before I cry, and yell. Why in the games in which everyone feeds there ass off throughout game yet I manage to play decent (I know i'm not proffesional) I lose the most lp i've ever lost. Normally I lose around 17-18 ish. The games my team-mates do ape shit though i've noticed I lose near 21. Like what the actual fuck. I've had so much problems with matchmaking, client and overall the entire rank system lately. My rants on poor teammates is for another day. Can someone break down this (poor) lets call it that since i'm ""underknowledged"") system.

The LP you gain depends who your matched against; It normally balances out around 20. It can go down from that number depending on how many games you've played in a division (Decay) and resets whenever you enter a new tier to 20 again.

There's an exception to this rule; that if you fight a team with higher ELO (Starts happening when your on a winning streak) you'll get extra LP to compensate for the challenge.

Chances are if your loosing more LP; its because there matching you against lower ranked people and your still loosing.

To sum it up: The games registering your bad win rate; and is trying to go easy on you and your still failing... so now it's trying to put you in a position you belong in quicker. Just focus on getting better and it will balance itself out instead of trying to fix your spot (Noticed you fell 100 points at one point).

Sorry if that came off wrong; Just tired of "I DO GOOD EVERY GAME - It's everyone else" ranked rants... chances are if it's consistent; it's a you thing.
