Blast Cone Suggestion

Since I've seen a few worries from people that the blast cone plant will cause some really skewed situations due to melee vs ranged advantages, like a scenario where someone is running away from a ranged champion, intends to use the blast cone to assist their getaway, but the ranged champion attacks it first due to simply having a longer range, blasting the melee champion back towards them and basically screwing them over just because they have a range advantage. I have a question and a suggestion.

Is this okay/is it an isolated enough situation that it doesn't matter too much?

If it is a big enough problem, my immediate thought was to make it so you can only trigger the blast cone's effect while you're inside the area that it will affect, which may create an issue of those with higher movement speed being able to escape too easily with the plants, but I think that's a smaller problem, and an intended use of plants anyway. Providing hard CC that can be used offensively with a decent amount of regularity does seem a little too powerful for an RNG mechanic, it's quite possible the best solution would be to remove or make blast cones less powerful.

The plants are stupid. They really have no place in the game. Just another RNG factor added into the game, and another thing to stop Junglers from capitalizing from mistakes.

Ranged champions have t be in melee range to use it to save themselves tho, so both classes have their advantage and disadvantage regarding them.

I think putting this into the game is just bad due to the fact it takes away from mobile champs like Lee Sin and other champs that are able to jump walls.. If everyone is able to just hop over walls whats the point of picking a champion based on skilled shots to get over walls... This is just making everyone able to hope over walls at key spots in the map which isnt fair to the champs that actually need to land a skill shot to get over the wall or reveal themselves with a ward to get over the wall. I feel like riot keeps adding things to the game to refresh it but sometimes these things are not good for the game or the gameplay each patch im worried they will add something new that will ruin the gameplay.. why not just make teleport pads int he jungle that can TP you from bottom lane to top for a gank after the team calls out that the other teams jungle is bot lane
