Someone explain the matchmaking queue for me please

Before anyone saying "Rage more please", yeah this is a semi rant.

So I've hit lvl 30 about 20 games ago and I play seldomly now over the course of 2 months, I've played 20 games. But I found out, the instant you hit lvl 30, you get queue'd up with high level players.

I have around 180 wins, typically for a new level 30. However, whenever I queue up there is ALWAYS at least one plat player on the enemy team (Of course the opposite goes, but so far it's been about 3/7 my team is statistically better excluding me) As well as the fact I don't play with other new level 30's with low amount of wins, rather, it's always "This guy has 2100 wins, this guy has 950 wins"

So I decided to play a game right now, and I queue'd up with the enemy team having 2 diamond players, a plat, and 2 gold. I thought to myself "Oh shit, but it's okay, my team should have something similar at least right?" Nope. My team had me, another unrank, 2 silvers, and one plat 4 player.

I don't see how this is balance at all, I understand that Normal and Ranked games don't use the same MMR- but I don't see how I'm ranking up with Plat/Diamond players who are obviously more skilled than me.
