Why doesn't Riot introduce a good loss forgiveness program?

Seen a bunch of threads about this and how people would abuse it, like if they started to have a bad game that they would just go afk. In my personal opinion a REAL simple solution to that would be to just ban people who afk and forgive the rest of the people who get a loss from a 4v5 the entire game. Not saying that it should be a one time thing but say someone goes afk 5 times a month they get banned or something like that. Or do like 3 times a week = 1 day, repeat = 1 month. Personally I would much rather get a loss than get banned and yet every few games you get someone going afk because absolutely nothing gets done about it...

Loss forgiveness only applies when the servers are exploding.

the "loss forgiven" shouldn't count for the AFK but instead make it 1.5 the loss amount or doubled.

I agree that playing a ranked match with someone AFK and still getting penalized as a team for trying is kinda heart aching. I don't get much AFK'rs but i once played a ranked where this guy didn't play all game, we were doing alright but in the end lost because team fights were really tough 4v5, at the end i told the other team to report em and the AFK'r just wrote he was having PC issues, but yet he didnt write a single thing all game, but as soon as the game ends he is good. Regardless if he was having issues with his net or not, the rest of us, the team, were trying our best while playing crippled and still got the same loss penalty, and i still think that guy was just trolling.

Just imagine if in the LCS one of the team members went AFK for whatever reason, no one would agree that the match was fair whatsoever, and they wouldn't agree that the team that got the trophy (assuming it would be the one with the team size advantage) deserved it.
