Does ARAM pitch you with same skill level players?

ARAM has a seperate mmr to ranked/normals, so it does its best to match people with others at the same ARAM skill level (which may vastly differ from their ranked standings).

That said many people haven't played nearly as many ARAMs as normals/ranked so their mmrs there may not have fallen/rose to levels befitting their skills. Plus given the R part of ARAM, it's occasionally possible for people to randomly get one of their worst champions and not have any rerolls, and not everyone is inclined to dodge unfavourable aram matches, whcih can sometimes make otherwise well rounded ARAM players do rather poorly.

Obviously not or I wouldn't be getting matched with diamond ranked players. I wish matchmaking for ARAM was better at matching success rate/ skill level with team members and opposing teammates. It usually ends up being: one team gets all the OP bullshit, the other team gets stuck with champs they can't play = disaster. I understand the concept of random champs but after 2000+ ARAM matches, you get tired of seeing the same steamrollers over and over.
