So, Malph and Shen had a baby named Galio

That is fine and dandy ,BUT I WANT THE REAL GALIO BACK!!!!!

Riot has done a great job on most of their updates/remakes. However, Galio is not one of them, they have completely lost the look and feel of the original Galio. Not even sure why they needed to update him when he is great in Gold and below, which is where most of the player base is located.

He was a lot of fun for me because of his two skill shots(love skill shots), and the perfect timing needed on his (team) shielding ability and his ult.

The skill set on the new Galio needed to just be a new champ!

The other Riot missteps were destroying original Karma, who was crazy unique, with a pretty boring mage kit. And destroying the old LOOKING Trundle with a model that moves just like Wukong.

Old Galio was clunky now he's an actually good tank, because he builds both armor and MR.

You best let go. Old Galio won't come back.

I do agree that the new Galio is "MUCH" weaker in lane that he was before. He doesn't ruin Mages life as much as he did before. And instead became a global using Gragas.

He can be reverted so he become more like old Galio doe, for ex.

  1. Increasing his Scaling on Q while reducing damage against Monsters and minions for balance. Also Seeing Galio being viable jungle is a big dislike on for my opinion.
  2. Give him back some old quotes from his prework.
  3. Make his ultimate cancelable so he can't use it as an instant teleport. (This is freaking broken dudes)
  4. Instead of Damage reduction the player ulted to should gain armor and MR. (it's almost impossible to kill a off-position enemy otherwise)

He's happy now. In the retirement home along with all the other old champions. Send him postcards if you wish, but he's tired. His ancient limbs are worn, he's finally found contentment.

Not sure you've actually payed attention to past reworks, but completely losing the old feel is pretty much par for the course. Just look at it as getting a free new champion, just like everyone else that had to put up with their mains getting reworked.
