I'm getting real tired of the constant discussion on toxicity and chat.

Do you guys think the game and community would be more positive and a better experience if

  1. There was no chat other than pre and post game
  2. Building a new system from the group up that adds more depth to pings (system is already good imo but could be better)
  3. A commo rose updated for league, similar to the one in the battlefield franchise

I rarely have seen chat used to discuss meaningful strategies pertaining to the game. We could of course keep friends list chat available in game, so you can whisper friends, or perhaps if you join a game with a party, that party can use chat in game visible to the party members.

What are your guys opinions on the matter, im curious.

edit idk why the image is bad heres a new one [http://i2.wp.com/bfmedic.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/08/Commo-Rose.jpg?resize=847%2C287]

I agree with that

99% of the chat is used for either flaming or complaining in solo queue games

The remaining 1% can be done through the ping system.

It's not just LoL either, it's just as bad in HoTS and DoTA.

I would be completely fine if chat were only available for ranked 5s and normal games and more new pings were added

Sure, and while we're at it, let's get rid of every gun wielding champion in the game and replace all champion quotes with positive, reinforcing messages!

Nope, I like the chat system it helps me send out more thought questions of what we should do to my team, and what order I want to do it in, and when I want to fight, and what we should do in a fight.

there should be some kind of "undecided" or "i don't know" or "neutral" option.

This is kinda delicate thing thus I'd pick "dunno" option if there was 1 :/

i have won myself a lot of clutch games by sayin basic tactics which completely changed the mindset of players in my team like:" hey j4 it seems not to work anymore to jump in like that, lets try to peel for our carry next tf". So no thanks.
