Does anyone here have advice for a future Trundle player? Im planning on buying him in 7 months when I have enough blue essence.

if you want to build trundle to do his classic "one of the strongest 1v1 champions in the game" business, i would try to rush item 3153 on trundle and then item 3065. these items synergize very well with trundle and themselves. other people build to be tankier/burstier (usually involving item 3078 or item 3748) you can do this but trundle will be a weaker duelist, though still powerful

take precision and resolve (which one you take as main doesn't matter too much), make sure to grab the lifesteal mastery in precision.

you can proceed to build full tank after this. trundle gets most of the damage he needs innately, and you should be healing a ton, especially in your W area.

in lane you can feel free to be aggressive during trades thanks to your outrageously powerful Q (it creates a 30 AD difference between you and your enemy laner at rank 1) and great passive sustain. even if you're up against a ranged you can often go in on bad trades and win through attrition as long as you know your limits.

at level 6 you are generally stronger than whoever you're laning against. it's pretty much a fact and anyone you lane against is going to learn this the hard way. there are cases where you can be bullied Pantheon but at level 6 you almost always have the advantage as long as you get your Q and ult off early.

if you are able to outtrade a darius you will win at 6 but don't all in unless you think you can finish him before he gets full bleed stacks on you.
