No real skill difference between dvisions

Hey guys,

First of all this is not a rant,

I've been Plat in S6, then i stopped playing for almost 1 year after the start of S7 (i hate league resets + i hated the current meta) came back to lol before season end just to get the skin, got placed G5, i liked a lot the new runes so i kept playing and got to G1, after the reset G5 again -.-

Well lets get to the point, i've been climbing again and i am G1 in promo to plat, but it's seems that the skill level it's always the same, it was even harded to get out of G5 it took me a lot of time and a lot of lost games, i was wondering if you feel the same, low Gold is so much harder to get out than high gold, above of that i don't feel my enemies play better in high gold, the only difference is that there's less people playing so bad that the game is lost in 10 minutes. Because that happens in low gold you can get a tilted teammate that fucks all the game in 5 minutes.

When i was Plat was the same, no real difference between a Gold and a plat player.

Do you feel the same or it's just me, i mean to see a great difference i have to go back to my bronze games in S4 when i started playing ranked.

There actually is a skill difference between ranks. With the current state of the game, and bad players tending to have more negative impact than good players have positive impact.. Its possible to carry in Bronze and Silver. its rare to carry in Gold. Its astronomical to carry in Plat+. Once you pass gold, 9 out of 10 of your games can be predicted at champ select. Because 10/10 players are good enough to competently play their role to an extent where team comp>individual skill.
