New Meta Suggestion

How to Carry Yourself Through Bronze/Silver/Gold | Duo Jungle (Hear Me Out) * /r/leagueoflegends

Hey Guys,

I just made this post for the sole reason of sharing my knowledge and successes with you guys. Yes, it is duo jungle, a new meta, but before you scream, run and hide, hear me out.

A little bit about me, I'm a Silver II (currently) player, peaked at Gold 3 and have been playing since the end of Season 2. Yea, me being silver after all that time may sound like I suck, but I've been playing on and off. This means, I've seen many different metas, and how the game has progressed in general.

My buddy, Zombsowned 3D, was the one who got me into the game in the first place and has been playing since the beginning of Season II. He is currently Gold V and peaked at Gold I.

Now here comes the good stuff. We call this meta we made up the "Zonkey" Meta, and the current one the "Traditional" Meta. For those of you that don't know what "Meta" is, it means "after" and "beyond" from Greek times. It's just thinking "beyond" the game, so how the game is played.

Anyways, the Zonkey features a double jungle, one on the Red Side and one on the Blue Side. The blue side jungler idealy is someone with meta and is good with blue such as Elise or Shaco. The Red side is more of the aggressive one, like Lee Sin or Rek Sai.

BLUE JUNGLE: The "Blue Jungle" will focus more on farming and ganking their respective side (i.e if your team is blue side, they will be ganking top). They will try to take the enemy's red side, and ideally take all their red buffs. At the start of the game, you will rush to the enemy's Krugs with some teammates, and ward their red Krugs. If , by the end of the ward, there is no presence, you are to assume they are starting Blue Side, and you are to take your blue, not Gromp, and head straight for their red. There, you will start to take it and will be shortly backed up by your jungle buddy. After the start of the game, you want to focus more on ganking your repective lane, and coordinating counter-jungle tactics. Top Three (in order): -Shaco -> Not the traditional farmer, Shaco is a great pick to set up counterjungling. Great for assassination of the enemy jungler as well -Jarvan IV -> Great for teamfights and locking down the enemy jungler. With his passive, it speeds up clear time, and makes a great counter jungler. -Elise -> Your Go-to AP jungler is here, and better than ever. Great at harrassing enemy jungler and great for ganks.

RED SIDE JUNGLE: You'll most likely be the gank-threat and the executioner. You are to follow suit in the early game, going to the enemies' Gromp with some teammates, carefully drop a ward at the Gromp and see where the enemy goes from there. If you think they are starting at their red, proceed to take your red and head straight for their blue. If not, help out your buddy and go to their Red (after taking yours of course). Gank your respective side, and try to coordiante counter-juingling tactics, dragon control, and double ganks. Top Three (in order): -Lee Sin -> one of the best early game junglers in the book, Lee sin brings devastation to the enemy jungler and ganks like a mother fucker (excuse me, i like him (: ) Best as damage early, into tank late. -Rek Sai -> No need for mana or CDR, Rek just loves the Red. Great for gnaking and teamfights. Best as a tank. -Shyvana -> Literally the best counterjungler. Her clear times are wicked, her harrass deadly. She strikes the enemy jungler hard and quick and gets out of there even faster.

NOTE: The ward and guessing where the enemy jungler is starting is at YOU and YOUR TEAM'S discression. Like lane swapping, it all comes down to a guessing game, but with the wards, you will most likely be on point.

TOP: This is best fit with an ADC. The ADC can 1v1 here, and get all of the XP and Gold from a 1v1 lane. This role is best fit with good kiters and good escapers. My top three are (in order): -Kalista -> Great Kiter, good escape, good with ganks. -Vayne -> Great duelist, escapers, can potentially 1v2 on a gank -Graves -> Second best duelist-ADC, true grit helps a ton on 1v1

MID: Mid is basically going to be as normal as the traditional mid-laners. It'll feature an AP laner. This is due to the fact that you will most likely have 4 other ADs on the team, unless you get a AP-Jungler or AP tank bot. The mids are going to specialize in assassination, teamfights, and escape (like getting around the jungle with ease). Here's my top 3 (in order): -Oriana -> Now shes not the best Assassin, but she's a great support-like, heavy-damage mid laner, who can help in late game, teamfights and most of all, counterjungling. -LeBlanc -> Great at assassination, counterjungling, and an all around good AP carry. If the rest of your team is AD, she's go to, because they will just build armor. -Ahri -> Great choice because of the roaming potential she has. She can utilize this potential to set up triple ganks, or great counterjungling techniques.

BOT: Bot lane will feature a tanky, traditional top-laner. It's kind of like the best people for lane swaps. In the bot tankiness is of the essence, as it is a 1v2. Junglers will help here a lot, and you can use the 1v2 for baits and fooling the enemies to overpush. Top Three (in order): -Gnar -> Great at farming from a distance, brings tons of 1v2 wins and great CC in the late game. Crazy good built tanky -Sion -> Best 1v2 top laner in the game, Sion hits a shit-ton, and doesn't die. Only behind Gnar because of CS'ing and late game CC. -Maoki -> Great if you need another AP, Maoki is surprisingly bursty and has great CC for ganks. Good farmer under tower

This guide and view on the meta is focused on shutting down the enemy jungler. This way is more efficient than the traditional way as well. Supports have started to "Fall off," They do bring great CC and support-things to a team. But a Solo lane Gnar can do all this and more - he has damage. Not only is there more damage on the team overall, but now there is more money out there. Everyone is farming, and the junglers are only taking a little hit to their revenue because they will gank and counter jungle so much. Lastly, the XP income is greatly increased. NOTE: only vs a traditonal comp the Zonkey will be better in XP, because if it's Zonkey vs Zonkey then the XP will even out again.

Furthermore, if this meta emerges as an actual thing (which it totally can be), I am convinced that two jungler vs two junglers will be brawling 24/7 and the ones who emerge victorious will be able to exponentially hinder the other team. Basically, this meta will mean QUICKER GAMES generally.

Anyways guys, Thanks for reading (if you did) and note that this guide was Zonkey VS Traditional Based, and if you'd like me to make a Zonkey VS Zonkey one, I'm more than willing. Please leave feedback, and good luck trying this out there on the Rift guys, have a wonderful day.

Throw most top laner's on bot against a current traditional and thy will get owned. Wont be able to CS, and they will fall behind, while sitting at turrent all day, and against alot of currently used supports, still be poked to death. Bot lane is a loss, enemy adc gets free farm. Bad.

Both jungle's. unless they get some mad ganks, will slowly fall behind in cs and income. Going into enemy jung leaves you open for being ganked. A little more possible, but not likely, since one of your jungs will be encountering enemy jung often at any time, you have to assume you can beat him every time. Probably not going to work. Both jungs will suffer unless they pull off significant ganks.

Top adc. The only lane that will possibly work. Is limited to a segment of adc's, and depending on the enemy top lane. Any enemy with a solid gapcloser can 100-0 you early. If you survive you will wreck their top, if their jung doesnt gank, but you will be unable to carry the other lanes outside mid.

gg, you likely lose. sure it can work sometimes, in normals, but play against a decently compotent team, its a ff at 20

I haven't lost a game with it in ranked yet. Sure, I've only played 12, but I mean, it works man. The junglers get WAY more XP than normal, and almost more gold because of all the counter-jungle brawls. The gold to the bot laner (tanky guy) is more than a support would ever get, so it mean more gold than the traditional meta overall. And yes, the dragon control andganks are amazing.

The gold to bot lane would be the same to them that they would get top, except against ranged and a support harrasing they get less CS overall, unless by some miracle enemy bot plays like shit.

Bot feels like the weakest link in this equation

Isn't it in lane swaps as well? This playstyle is literally a lane swap with a jungler replacing the support that gets CS

How often do you see a lane swap like that though. One wouldnt swap lanes to go to a more painful lane where they would be harassed and lose cs. Lane swaps are when both lanes get a better deal then they had.

Top lane MIGHT be ok, if we remember that without a support an adc can die very easily to a top with a good engage. If not they they have a chance.

Bot however gets behind by an amount to offset any gains top. Bot lane gets nearly free farm, and bot bruiser/tank/w/e gets shit on. I dont see many top laners that can handle a bot lane adc AND support. They would have to sit at tower as it slowly eroded, and have a very hard time getting CS.

And out of curiosity to both jung's roam together?
