Another type of Reporting Tool

People that don't understand the concept of teamwork should not be playing this game. Simple.

For me, this is how chat in a typical game goes:

A dies. B: "F you, you suck" A: "No! you're the one that sucks!" B dies. A: "See! you suck!" B: Arguing continues

Between me and my RL friends(they don't play LoL), we pick at each other jokingly and don't mind shit-talking, but online is a different story. Players just can't handle it and it impacts their play significantly. The game becomes about proving they are better than the person they called garbage. Which doesn't even make sense. If you are well-above garbage, why are you trying so hard to prove you're not equal?

LoL is filled with players that refuse to take responsibility for their actions and usually immediately default to blaming anyone else. I can't be alone in wanting these players removed...

Perhaps we need to add a softer reporting tool in-addition to the hard reporting tool. Something that offers options like:

  1. This player needs to practice (too many reports restricts ranked for X amount of games)

  2. This player is not fun to play with (too many reports restricts all games for X amount of time) [Sometimes, players are simply not fun to play with. They come into the game with a losing mindset, which isn't always report-worthy, but very annoying none-the-less]

  3. This player talks too much (too many reports restricts chat for X amount of games)

  4. This player ping-spams (too many reports restricts pings for X amount of games)
