Smurfing should be a bannable offense, and here's why;

Before someone replies and says "I'm allowed to have 2 accounts blah blah" that's not what I'm talking about..

There are people who remain in low elo intentionally to feel good about themselves for various different reasons. I'm not entirely sure why this is a thing, but it is. I usually run into these people very late at night. Maybe they can't find a game in their elo at the time? Idk. But either way, intentionally losing a game to maintain a low elo on a "smurf" account, or playing in low elo just to ruin the game should be bannable. I don't understand the logic of encouraging this in ranked if in every other competitive game I play, this is a bannable offense.

Yeah this post may get a lot of hate, but honestly there are a lot more "smurfs" than you may realize ruining your ranked games and getting away with it. Weither it be with inting to keep an account low elo, or just crapping all over your team (or the enemies) bringing people to elos that they don't belong in.

That is already banable, intentionally losing games is banable.

Quick tip here; If you don't mean "smurfing should be bannable" don't say "smurfing should be bannable" because, and let's be completely honest here, you're not talking about smurfing, you're talking about intentionally losing to get into low elo (which, believe it or not, are not the same thing).

Is that clear enough?

I don't think there is a lot of people that do that, but i've seen it in flex, a guy who keeps trolling games for his personal "fun", he waits until he is with a player who is in promos and intentionally wants to lose the game. How do i know this? well he said in chat that he loves ruining promos for other players.

I agree that they should be banned and they would be banned if the system could detect such things.

Sending support ticket doesn't help, i've already tried that.. They'll say how reporting in game is the best way and how you should continue being a good teammate while they'll do nothing even if you give the exact timestamps or tell them about the chat logs. Yet people who spoiled avengers endgame get banned by a support ticket, real priorities they have here... Also why is there a category tp report players if they'll do nothing? so i could report movie spoilers?

So there's literally nothing you can do about it outside of making a reddit thread and hoping it gets on the front page, that's when they'll react.

Smurfs in Rank are not different then cheating. Its boosting any Friends you play with and any non-friends on your team.

So how do you assume to detect somones smurfing? "Wow this guys really good at the game, he must be smurfing! Ban him!". Is that your logic?

here is why smurfing should be banable if league is considered a sport yes E sport still a sport it has the same play level as that of other sports a chalenger for argument stakes would be a all american college level player where a bronze would be a back yard 10 year old playing. in any other sprort if oyu got caught in a league you dont belong you woudl get a life time ban as it woudl be justifiied why not in esports also
