Season 6 Feels Like The Season To Quit League
Where To Begin With This? Let Me Really Start By Saying This Season Feels Awful
I started playing League Of Legends in early season 4, I've seen some awful times of the game. Some times I feel like Riot is just swimming in the players salty tears. However I always just told my self "OP you are low elo, stop complaining, its your elo not the game." One season 6 kicked off I felt a little terrified because I never saw the game as such a piece of plastic that Riot could just spin around into something Completely new. Once I made my new masteries and saw the changes I just told my self everything was fine. Once I got deeper into the Season though it felt completely wrong and I am at the point right now where I don't feel like the game is something I want to play.

What I want in a game is; something that feels fresh, unique, and fun. League when you first start playing feels amazing, you grab a ap item on wukong because it looks good and you walk top only to die to a beginner Annie bot (Only Me?) I remember buying kat and building her full ad because I didn't know AP was and I thought since she was melee and used blades it was right. I began playing with my friends, we would all build stupid thing and derp around the map until we figured out what we were doing. League felt fresh, it was new and it was exciting. The game was different than DOTA 2 which I came from, the map and champions along with the items were almost completely different. League was different and unique from other games because it really put team work and strategy to a game. You could be kills behind and device a plan, do it and make a come back. League of course was fun when you start playing, it was fun to build full vamp scepter annie and get raged at by level 11's playing xin thinking they were diamond. Now I am that xin raging at the ad annie. Feels bad man.
What we have this season is one of least strategic seasons of all, if you are losing it feels like you can do nothing to come back. The game is alot more stressful and less rewarding. Comebacks are less often, and nothing can help you if the enemy team gets ahead unless they are to stupid to end. Turrets are not even worth staying by, death timers are to awful, and nothing really feels important besides your pick. What we have is just a bunch of random stuff that doesnt seem fully put together. The game right now is unhealthy, the stress of the game makes me want to dc everygame because i feel like i can do nothing to win a game. At this point the best thing to do is pray and home your lanes win.
What is there really to say about LCS, its stale, no one is making risky plays, every one is playing assassins with tank items, come backs dont happen. The games are just snowballed, called gg then we move on. I stopped watching LCS around the end of season 5 to pre-season. The whole LCS feels like there is nothing exciting. Its just them farming, throwing a team fight then the other team wins. There is no excitement in games any more. Its all just bland at this point. Which says a lot about the game since riot looks at pro play more than casual, they need lcs to be interesting.
What can be done? Well everyone has their own idea, after cinderhulk nerf an pre juggernaut seemed like the best period of time league ever had for me, the games felt satisfying, it felt like you could make a comeback and alot of champs were seeing play. I think riot could just take the whole game back to that time IMO. However everyone has their own idea and its hard for riot to please everyone, and they cant. At this point really all I can see is just a long road of rito buffing one champ then buffing another champ to compensate for that last buff. This season is just not pleasing champion wise either, champions are getting small reworks all over making it hard to balance. I figure riot just needs to take a seat and look at what went well in seasons before and try to make season 6 a little more bearable.
Well im sorry you guys had to read my rant, I think season 6 is a huge problem that riot just isnt pleasing players by dealing with. The whole game feels like it needs another rework to me. However all of this is my biased low elo perspective on a complicated matter that I think no one knows how to deal with. There seems to be no middle ground on anything this season.
