Fix the god damn rankings

I am trying to play a new champ, trying to learn Shyvana. Go to normals and absolutely dominate. Get my lanes ahead, everything goes well. Go to ranked and get absolutely destroyed in every game I play. All of my lanes give up kills before 6, All of them continually get caught and then subsequently I have bad games. Why is normal vs ranked so far off in the people you play. Why if I go to norms do I always do well and then ranked get shit on? I don't understand how any of this MMR shit effects anything because the games where I get shit on I have the higher MMR but win when mine is lower. I don't get it.
