How does the support grading system even work?

So I played two games on Nami, and one game I got an S- with a 1/1/33 KDA and 16 CS @35 minutes and 83% kill participation. The other game I somehow got an S with a 2/4/28 KDA and 17 CS @32 minutes with 68% kill participation?

Someone please explain how the grading system works so I can aim for my last S for mastery 7, thank you!

I believe it takes into account many things, like your vision score, CC score, etc. Even if you go like 5/0/30, but get a terrible vision score, you may only get an A+ or S- or something. It also compares it to other players in your elo on that champ, so if the average S+ for a Nami at your elo is 2/0/35, 25 cs, etc, you may get a little lower.

Look at the post game graphs. All of those are technically factors in the game overall. It includes damage in general, and specifically dealt to champs/structures, objective participation, kill participation, vision score, creep score, healing/shielding to champions, deaths, and damage taken.

also, you can look at the stats of champions you play somewhere in your profile tab (i'm not at home or I'd know the directions to see it) that compare some of your stats to the avg in each division. I think that average has something to do with it too - if your score is far above the average of your elo, you'll get your S. If it's about on par with it, I think it averages out to about a B. If it's below, you get a C or lower.

This is super late...but in the future, it should help.

Damage to turrets is a relevant factor too

Vision CC Healing/Shielding Damage Damage to Objectives Damage to Turrets Damage to Champions KDA

To improve on damage, auto the minions in lane, but don't last hit them, it'll make it faster for your ADC to clear waves, easier for you two to push lane, and increase your damage score even if only a little.
