What's Really wrong with Taliyah

TLDR: Worked ground is useless outside of laning phase. Make it more useful. Abilities are clunky. I don't feel like a rocky control mage.

Threaded Volley (Q): Mana cost lowered to 50/55/60/65/70 from 60/65/70/75/80 Worked Ground base duration lowered to 140 from 180.

These are the changes that riot has implemented for Taliyah. Why? Because shes extremely under powered at the moment. So much so the hotfixed her as a buff. This almost never happens to champions. The fact that they acknowledged that worked ground duration tells me, that they know worked ground is the problem.

Now I get it thematically she's a young girl who cannot fully control her powers so her abilites are clunky and delayed. But she's also a control mage and the only time I like i'm in control is when i use her R.

Now lets go down the list and find where she is lackluster and does FEEL like a control rock mage

Passive: I like it but it the fact that its only out of combat just makes it feel useless. Also there is 0 duration once you leave a wall and the radius is horrid. I don't FEEL like some cool earthbending chic, when I fall off my passive rock every few seconds in the jungle where there is nothing but wall around me.

Q: Honestly this ability is amazing love the damage love the worked ground love the movement. However, worked ground actaully makes taliyah useless after laning phase. The fact that I lose majority of my damage for using an ability that isn't my ultimate just doesn't make sense. How can we improve this? A make taliyah have a MUCH lower Cooldown on her Q if on worked ground or give the single rock more damage

W: I see why there is such a delay on the skill and why the radius is so small but why is there no improvement with worked ground

E: There is a delay for the ability to actually activate it makes controlling a zone kinda hard if I can't control it when they are near me. The fact that this ability has a slow and people still feel the need to buy Rylais should tell you everything you need to know about this ability.

R: ERMAGERD LOVE THIS wish is wanst so slow to actually start moving is kinda sucky but its game changing so I get it
