Jungle items balance

Is anyone else getting tires of seeing devourer and its impending doom every game? I realize that this post is divided by people who like devourer champs and those who don't but imo does it even need to be an item? I just feel like farming it is super easy and you don't give up much if any pressure at all while working your way to such a huge damage boost.
