Ok I really need a Red here

Ok I am not trying to attack you guys or anything but I really need some explanation here. I don't agree with this new direction of lore or how it is proceeding but its your game and I will accept that. What I am really confused about is is there actually a team dedicated to lore? If so please tell me what they do besides these elementary level paragraphs that are replacing old champion lores each patch. Do they work on the video releases for events like shurima or do they strictly do the writing part. If so please is there anyway they can be improved on? I am a college student and I could write equvilantly long lores in a matter of hours if that. I understand that players that actually care about lore are minuscule in numbers compared to other players but don't we matter too? Even if theses new lores will be expanded on later why not just wait to release them later that way the whole lore system is just this big conglomerate of old and new lore. Any response would be appreciated.

There should be a "doesn't matter" option in your poll. For people like me, I would rather them fix the issues with their game than have a good lore that I don't read anyway :). I understand that some people, like you I am assuming, feel strongly about it, but in order to try and encompass a larger portion of the population, the "doesn't matter" really should be there.

From what I understand there's a good chunk of lore currently locked out due to a web-client technical difficulty. As in the client page for said champions will link (and probably have embedded) a web-page dedicated to that champion's lore (a bit of speculation there, I'm not a red keep that in mind).

Sorry I'm no red but I hope that helps at least a bit.

Give it time, there is a reason these little bits of lore have not been expanded upon. Either they are keeping things back in order for it to be a surprise when they start telling actual stories, or there are details that are not quite finished yet.

To answer one of your questions, Riot doesn't technically have a "Lore team", it's their "Narrative team". They're the guys who focus on the actual story, how its told and also the world at large. They don't make everything relating to the lore, the Narrative Team is the one that writes it and provides the direction.

Artists, video makers, sound artists, 3D modelers, web-tech fellows and After Effects guru's or whatever they're called and more are the ones involved in the creation of media relating to the lore. Essentially Narrative writes the champion lore, the scripts for videos, the promo-text for skin releases, and determine the direction of the story as a whole. Other folks aid in the execution. Riot, like every company ever, doesn't have everyone able to do everything. They have teams that collaborate to make things work. Hope that's helpful info, and also, if a Rioter is reading, I hope that's actually accurate, because that's what I know to the best of my knowledge!

Well, need to give Riot some time to get things updated lore-wise. :/ Also, seems like they are trying to cultivate some dialog in the forums about lore as well. Think people are too used to having things right away in this fast-paced, fast food society we live in today.

Sure, things could have been handled better. However, you can RP whichever history/lore you want (same with any universe).
